5.0 out of 5 stars The Review of Pooh, December 1, 1999
By
This review is from: Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too (Hardcover)
Walt Disney's Winnie the Pooh and Tigger too is an excellent book for children to read. It is a classic book that has a great story about the characters. Winnie is a lovable bear and a big fan of all children. And then you have Tigger who bounces all over the place and is full of energy. Children go nuts for this. Even when I was a child I loved too read Winnie the Pooh books cause they are all so good. I especially like this one in particular though. It has marvelous illustrations and tells a great story, very understandable for children. I will end by saying that this book should be one that is owned by all children,no child should have to go with out Winnie the Pooh.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very nice story, June 18, 2009
This review is from: Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too (Hardcover)
Bouncing is what Tiggers do best, but when Tigger bounces Rabbit one time too many, Rabbit decides that it is time to teach Tigger a lesson. And so, with Pooh and Piglet's reluctant help, Rabbit leads Tigger out into a lonely part of the Hundred-Acre Wood, and... Well, someone learns a lesson all right, when Rabbit's scheme goes all awry!

This is a very nice story, one that made a great Disney show. Just as a book, though this is a great story. The pages are richly illustrated, and the story is just right for the young reader. I always loved Winnie the Pooh, and I really enjoy sharing these stories with my four-year-old daughter. This is a great book, one that she and I both highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too, September 14, 2010
ISBN 0717289664 and ISBN 0394925696 - Winnie the Pooh and his friends are among those character who've been around long enough to be favorites for generations of children, which is a very cool thing.

Tigger is a very bouncy creature - bouncing is what he does, everyone knows that. What they're beginning to realize is that his bouncing is an annoyance. He bounces everywhere, on everyone, on everything! When he bounces his way through Rabbit's garden, destroying the entire garden, Rabbit has had enough. He suggests a plan to un-bounce Tigger and recruits Pooh and Piglet to help. The plan backfires badly but when a later event takes the bounce right out of Tigger, Rabbit and his friends realize that they sort of prefer the bouncy Tigger.

Disney's illustrations are, as ever, wonderful and colorful, but this is one of those rare Pooh stories that really has more of a point than the others: Even if you've got an annoying flaw, your real friends will appreciate who you are. Besides, Tigger's bounce has always been more than just fun, fun, fun - it's also joyful, joyful, joyful and it should never be taken away!

4.0 out of 5 stars Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too, October 2, 2003
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too (Hardcover)
In this book Pooh, Piglet, and Rabbit all come up with a plan for unbouncing tiger. The reason that they want to do this is because tiger always bounces into them and they fall to the ground. So Rabbit comes up with a plan to unbounce tiger. The plan was to take him into the woods and get him lost for one night so the next day when they find tiger he wouldn't be bouncy anymore.
The lesson that the book teaches is basically that the way one person or thing is, whether it's a bad thing in your eyes is the way they will always be and no one can change that.
The age level for this book is 4-8. This book was a very good book. I have liked Winnie the Pooh since I was about 4 years old and I would recommend this book to kids everywhere.
