5.0 out of 5 stars Great show! (but very little about working together), June 9, 2009

This review is from: Winnie the Pooh: Working Together [VHS] (VHS Tape)
In "Shovel, Shovel, toil and trouble, Gopher receives his super shovel in the mail, named LUCILLE and instantly goes bonkers over it. He gets so excited, however, that he starts digging up everyone's homes without asking them first. Piglet, having encouraged Gopher to have fun and use LUCILLE, feels that it's his fault and decides he must steal it and hide it from Gopher. (Something that is a little hard to swallow for those of us who know Piglet best) Gopher then chases what he thinks is a theif and ends up finding Piglet trapped in a huge hole with the shovel. (Lucille has a mind of her own.) He forgives Piglet when he realizes his behavior was out of hand too.
In "Tigger Shoes", Rabbit is again frusterated with Tigger's bouncing and makes a "special" pair of shoes for Tigger, telling him it will help him bounce the highest mountain peak. He has really taken an ordinary pair of shoes and filled them with the heaviest things possible, making it impossible to jump very high at all. Tigger misses bouncing so much, that he starts "Sleep bouncing" and scaring everyone in the wood. When he does actually one night bounce the highest peak in his sleep, Rabbit confesses his trick and Tigger forgives him.
In "Easy come, easy Gopher", Gopher decides to build the ulitmate tunnel! But since it goes through Rabbit's garden and house, Rabbit tries to stop him. When Gopher's blueprints accidentally get messed up, Rabbit keeps it that way in order to foil Gopher's plans. When the new plans destroy everyone else's house, Rabbit (again) confesses his wrong and tries to make things right.
3 stories of childlike behavior, forgiving eachother and trying to live with eachother's annoying quirks through love and acceptence.
They do use the same formula and storylines over and over it seems, but it's Pooh and it entertains the younger viewers.
