This book is a beautifully made way to teach your child the basics. Not only can you learn the alphabet, you can learn colors, opposites, counting to ten, and telling time. All of the flaps open easily for little fingers. And of course, the book is illustrated in classic pooh format. My daughter can look at this book for an hour by herself, and she is only two. I would not recommend though that you leave a small child with this book alone, as small children enjoy ripping the flaps off (ours is taped). This book is a must for any parent with a toddler to preschooler.

I bought this book for Christmas for my daughter and it was an immediate hit. All the kids (from 2-5) loved it. She'll spend time just looking at it on her own. One day she took it to school and it was an enormous hit. The teacher told me that the nine kids there all spent half an hour looking at the book together. Just remember, it is CLASSIC Pooh, not the Disney Pooh.

This book is okay, the large size of it makes it harder for smaller kids to handle easily. Most kids who are going to like Winnie the Pooh books like this are going to be younger but then they are not going to be gentle on the flaps. The flaps in ours lasted about four days. I do like this book but after the flaps rip off the novelty goes with them.

My Child found the graphics to be so poor that they were disturbing. My child could figure out what happened to Winnie's red shirt. The graphic style is different and the characters don't resemble the common rendering of Pooh and his friends. There is not much difference between this and any other pop-up Book.
