Book Description

October 20, 1997 Princeton Review Series
If you're good enough to play intercollegiate sports, congratulations!  Your talent and hard work have paid off.  But on the road to NCAA competition, you'll find some tricky rules and guidelines that if not followed closely could jeapordize your chances to qualify for a scholarship and play collegiate sports.  You need clear advice on how to maintain academic eligibility, how to follow recruiting guidelines and get on a college team, and how to meet the unique and strenuous demands that will be made of you.

To enjoy a successful career as a college athlete, you must plan early.  Freshmen and sophomores in high school need to be aware of course requirements, the same way juniors and seniors need to prepare for the SAT or ACT.  The sooner you guarantee your college eligibility, the better.  Winning Athletic Scholarships is an essential guide for student athletes in any sport, from football to field hockey to fencing.

Includes interviews with the coaches themselves.
