This book gives you a detailed analysis of how the game is played, which bets to make, and which bets to always avoid. If you are a serious craps players or even a beginner, this book is definately for you. After I read this book I went to the casino the next night and won $2000 dollars. Buy it!

A hidden gem!,
This review is from: Winning Craps For The Serious Player, 3rd Edition (Paperback)
I have read many books on Craps and this is one of my favorites. Very easy to read and full of good techniques for realistic play. Combine this book with Schoblete's Five-Step Advantage-Play method and you will be a powerful player.
Do yourself a favor and buy this book for your collection. You won't be disappointed. Also, whatever books you read, download wincraps and use the free software to master your play. It really helps. [..]

Ridiculous Waste,
This review is from: Winning Craps For The Serious Player (Paperback)
2 stars for explaining about Craps. It's a joke when he says that he has 25 winning strategies. All the strategies are pass bet (take odds - single,double,10x), use come bet (take odds- single,double,10x), use another come bet with similar odds and wait for the numbers to hit and then take another come bet or press it by one unit. Is this a real strategy? He talks about the same bet with the wrong-way (Don't pass, Don't come) and that's about it (he has covered his 25 winning strategies). If you use his strategy, you will go bust 80% of the time. He also tells stories about how he cheated a dealer in the Carribeans (who did not distinguish his don't pass odds-bet and pressed it to his advantage by combining it with his don't pass bet) and how he got lucky with a woman while he cheated at craps. Ridiculous waste of time. If you know the game and want to improve the strategy, you should buy 'The Mad Proffesor's Crapshooting book' by Tino Gambino and also books by Frank Scoblete and John Patrick. Well, if you are wondering why this book sells for a dollar and shipping is three times that price, you should know better.

This book covers the entire Craps gaming experience.,
This review is from: Winning Craps For The Serious Player, 3rd Edition (Paperback)
Unlike many 'how to' gambling books, this book covers the entire experience. Not only does it cover odds, edges and full mathematics of craps probability, it also covers how to manage your bankroll, multi-day cash management and how to 'feel' which way the dice are going. I really enjoyed the focus on a full craps 'system' that the author also put together for various styles of play and aggressiveness. Great book on craps.

A great book for anyone looking to learn and win Craps.,

I liked this book so much, I usually keep two copies just in caseI loose one. Just bought another copy again this year to give to another friend, thats about the fifth copy given away in the last three or four years. (For the money), I'll guarantee the only way you could not win your investment back is if you stood at the craps table with you eyes closed. The book is straight forward but not dry with just a touch of humor. It explains every thing you should know, or could want to know about Craps, yet is extremely easy to read, and hardly even a half inch thick. I've read the book several times from cover to cover, and wouldn't think of going near a craps table without first brushing through the book one more time...

Don't Buy This Book,
By A Customer
This review is from: Winning Craps For The Serious Player (Paperback)
This book is a waste of money. The only useful information covers the rules of craps and how to play. The cover promises 25 systems for winning money, but in fact they are mostly variations on each other. None of them are worthwhile systems. The whole book is repetitive (I think the author just needed to pad things out so you didn't realize you were being ripped off). And the sexist rubbish gets old after a while too.

HOW TO NOT HITCHHIKE HOME FROM VEGAS,
By
This review is from: Winning Craps For The Serious Player, 3rd Edition (Paperback)
This comprhensive book is insistant on teaching a conservative method of craps and ignoring, indeed vehemently disdaining, the more tempting and colorful craps bets that the author proclaims to be money loser tbat glitter like tempting gold coins on the craps table. These and other tips are forcefully ingrained into the reader until they are nearly mantra-like in the mind. Still, by the time I arrived at the craps table I found myself wishing I could reach for this book to help me out with a bet or a question. I don't think the dealers and other players would have appreciated my referring to a "How To Play Craps" paperback in the middle of a roll. So later I read the book again and I'm still referring to it. Only complaint; the depiction of women as less than perfect craps players. I'm a less than perfect craps player. My first roll went flying off the table and sailing across the room like I was throwing darts. The author attributes such a wild throw to women and often refers to them as some kind of good luck charm.
