The management buyout is an underutilized and often neglected technique for members of management to become owners of their company. With a lot of advance planning, the right advisors and an energetic management team, an MBO can prove to be a very successful means for converting years of devotion and hard work into an ownership interest. For those who are not familiar with what it takes to implement an MBO, the process can seem complex and daunting. In this book, we break down the typical transaction into very simple steps that make the entire process easier to understand. If you have ever wondered what it would take to complete an MBO or considered implementing one yourself, then this book is a must read for you. About the Authors: James M.
