We've been playing Mille Borne for 40 years. It's so much fun to see who will get the most millage while trying to stop the other players by placing stop cards, accidents, and out of gas cards on their pile. It's a very competative and exciting
game. We wore out the first deck and we're now working on the second. Thanks again Amazon for helping us find Mille Borne again.

We've had hours of fun playing this game, my favorite aspect of this set is the original design of the cards (just like those I remember as a kid!) I thought the car "box" was a novel package that would be appreciated by a young boy but have, overall, been frustrated to find a place to keep it where it won't roll away. Doe's not fit well on a book shelf and even though it does have movable wheels, its construction is not designed for play. The game is a great as I remember it but skip the metal car box...

I played this game about 35 years ago and liked it. Just found it again at a flea market. I had out of town company and we got it out read the rules and began playing. I had forgotten how much fun it could be and my company loved it! The purchase was made as a Christmas present for my company. The week they got it they had weekend company and got snowed in....played all weekend! A good time was had by all.

I don't have the tin version but an earlier version. The cards look different but the game is played the same. I have been playing this with my now current 10 year old for 2 years and we both love it. A little luck, some strategy, and a whole lot of fun. Don't let the age levels fool you-adults will enjoy this as well. A classic that will never go out of style.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Game For the Whole Family, July 3, 2006
This review is from: Mille Bornes Tin (Toy)
When I was about eight years old, a family friend gave me Mille Bornes. I loved it immediately! It was fun and easy to learn. The rules are easy enough that kids can play and yet the strategy is challenging enough for adults. This is truly one of those games that the whole family can play.

The original game I was given some thirty years ago now had long since been tossed accidently by mom! Aw... but just this weekend my husband and I found Mille Bornes again and had a lot of fun playing. A bonus if you can purchase the game with the original artwork from the 60s.
