I bought this game because regular Yahtzee was getting a little boring. This game requires more math skills and it really makes you think because you have a lot more options, for example there are two 3 and 4 of a kinds, and three Yahtzee's to name a few. There is a lot more to the game but I will let you have the fun of learning it. We play the old Yahtzee when we are too tired to think and Power Yahtzee when we want a challenge. My daughter is 15 and she really likes it, and it's tough to get her approval.

Very High scores and the power dice adds a new fun dimension to the game. We love this game and play it often. The red power dice gives you options for multipliers, extra rolls, double scores, and lose your turn. The scores are very high and the new scorecard adds some extras spaces for more options. The object of the game is to be the first one to fill your scorecard and have the highest number of points. May need a calculator!

I won't be able to play regular Yahtzee again - this game is a great variation on the original!
