I play canasta every Thursday, and wanted a different deck of cards. This one is so beautiful, featuring sea shells, birds, flowers, all in brilliant colors. We really enjoy using these cards!

I love these cards!! We started playing Canasta a year ago and have gone through 5 decks. I'm not sure if they are lacking durability or if we've just played that much. I love the cards though and have been extremely disapointed that Target stopped caring them in store. Now we have to order online and pay shipping as I haven't been able to find a store that carries this particular deck in store. great product easy to see the numbers and they are even color coded....

We actually just played this game, last night. The cards seem somewhat smaller that the ones our friends have had, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The colors and images on these cards (still the tropical things, like sea shells, tropical birds, butterflies, etc.) are brighter than the older versions.
The game itself, for those who have never played it, is lots of fun. We're adults, but I think kids would enjoy it as well, if you could tear them away from their video games for awhile. The rules might take a minute to learn, but when you catch on, it just goes along without any problem. We enjoy the fact that you can play this game with just two people, or up to three teams, which would be six people. We usually play with four people (two teams) when our good friends come to visit. We're not particularly competitive, and this is a game you can play while talking about different things. But even if you are really competitive and pay strict attention to the game itself and nothing else, this game (based on both luck and skill) will make for an enjoyable evening.
