We play this game with our 8 year old and 6 year old. Our 6 year old needs a little help sometimes, but an 8 year old can play without assistance once they learn the rules. It is not as complicated as Monopoly, and it is a fun way to learn about loans, paying bills and making investments. The game is more geared towards earning money - which the kids love. You can decide before you play how long you want the game to last.

This is definitely the best version of Payday available. Being able to change the day tiles was an excellent addition, so you never play the same game twice. The only thing that the game needs is more exchange of money. It seems that players constantly take in money, while very little goes out. The first month is usually the only month you will need a loan. Also, the fact that postcard and advertisement mail cards mean absolutely nothing is sort of silly, why isn't there a recycle space or something? Hopefully the makers of PAYDAY will eventually release a definitive version of the game, until then, BIG PAYDAY is the very best.

The game is better than I remember. You are allowed to change the board up each time you play a new game so that you never get too comfortable with the placement and arrangement of the payouts. It is perfect to teach children the importance of saving, spending and planning for unforeseen events. Everyone has an even playing ground due to the placement of the tiles therefore no one had more of an advantage due to "life experience".

We love Payday so I thought that BIG Payday would be twice the fun. I love that we can choose and mix around the tiles for a different game every time. I am disappointed that the "regular" payday (when you take the tiles off) is different than the regular version. There's not as many lottery tiles as in the older version and there's no cards for the lottery. It is confusing how to even play lottery with just dice and no cards. They should have just included the same lottery cards as in the older version.

But overall it is a great game and is fun to play.

Great fun family game. It is versitle because you can change the game tiles to make a differnt and new game. So, you never have to play the same payday, or you can play the orginal payday. It isn't very educational b/c you can never run out of money and you always have plenty to pay bills, buy buisness or play the lottery. Overall it is a fun game and the kids will enjoy it.
