This is not your parents' Clue. This classic edition belongs in a book-lined study to be played over snifters of brandy. Each tin game case is complete with a heavy- duty, quad-fold game board; laminated cards; die-cast pieces in the traditional Clue weapon designs (gun, rope, knife, candlestick, etc.); brass and wood game tokens; dice; and six detective notebooks. As with the regular edition, the idea of the game is for each of the three-to-six players to figure out who killed Mr. Boddy. Cards containing the suspects' names, rooms in a mansion, and possible murder weapons are shuffled, and one of each type is placed in a secret envelope. The remaining cards are dealt, and the players move from room to room calling out "suggestions" as to the "who, where, and with what" of the murder. It takes only a few minutes to learn, but each game can last for up to an hour. The charm of Clue, as always, is the juxtaposition of cleverly named suspects and evidence in each brain-teasing round. Who can exclaim, "I've got it! Colonel Mustard did it with the rope in the conservatory!" and not feel a twinge of
Holmesian pride? The Limited Edition game boards are individually numbered.
