When you get a book written by Anatoly Karpov you know it will be a good chess book. If it is about one of his favorites defenses, the Petroff, then it is even better! If you play this defense, or just to be prepared as white, this book is for you. Like I said, it will be outdated in terms of the most recent variations, oh but it will give you a good base and unique insight into the intimate details of this awesome defense. After reading it you will understand it better. Recommended!
