I love "Mermaids" and "Great Balls of Fire!". "1969" and "Autumn in New York" are pretty good too but "Mermaids" and "GBOF" are the better half of this collection of Winona dramas. Ok with Winona Ryder's amazing filmography you'd expect a different collection of her dramas.. you'd expect a Ryder drama collection to include "Girl Interrupted", "Little Women", "The Age of Innocence", "How to make an American Quilt", "The Crucible".. ect! It's important to know that this isn't just a Winona drama collection, it is a Winona Ryder/MGM drama collection. To included the other films I mentioned that arent in this collection would require Universal Pictures, Columbia/Tri-Star, and 20TH Century FOX to all agree to package the films together and of course they would never do that being that they are all rivals so to speak. I must give the collection 5 stars because this much Winona in one box is explosive!Mermaids Cast: Cher, Winona Ryder, Bob Hoskins, Christina Ricci. ****1/2 Great Balls of Fire!
