For a product that costs about a third of what you'd pay for the others its not too bad.

My views on it:
It takes long to receive an image only if the monitor (Viewer) was not turned on first. I think the built-in receiver takes a while to initialize or something. If you turn it on prior to using it then the picture fires right up.
The picture is quite good and it has extremely good low light capabilities.

Not so cool stuff:
It picks up other backup cameras and other wireless security cameras.
If the monitor is on and you are not in reverse (if you installed just like in the instructions)any wireless camera in range is shown. This can be kinda cool for some. You wouldn't believe the things folk monitor with wireless cameras.
The tag mounted camera is really too big and obvious. I worry about someone seeing it and ripping it off damaging my SUV if I'm parked in a bad neighborhood. A less camera-looking camera would have been better.
The dashboard mount is more suitable to 1980's styled cabin. Late model cars and SUVs have more rounded surfaces that make placing the monitor a real challenge.

In summary, its not perfect but for the money its not that bad.
Advice: don't install it to the reverse lights. Rather install it to your plate identification lights. Its closer, cleaner and allows you to use the camera even when you are moving forward.

GREAT UNIT. Like the 3.5" dia monitor screen that is easy to view. Resolution and color are good. I installed unit in a friend's Honda CR-V. Had to have Honda dealer remove rear interior lift gate paneling, free gratis. I soldered the camera's two wires to the backup lite wiring instead of using the furnished wire clamps that were too big to for the back-up and camera wires.
Rear view has a wide angle view. Adjusted unit to pickup object knee high at 20 " from rear of car. Certainly low enough to see a small child.
Would definately buy unit again.

This unit would also work well behind a truck or RV viewing a towed car, trailer or traffic behind.

First, this is not as easy to install as the ad would have you believe. The camera has to be connected to the backup light wires. I was lucky, I did not have to drill into the car, there were already holes for me to feed the wires from the camera to the backup light. The system works OK, but suffers from interference because of the the wireless connection between the camera and the viewer. It takes some time for the screen to warm up and then you get lines running through the display. Bottom line, I still would get it, I need to have some view to the rear and I get enough with this system.

I purchased one of these from Costco, it was a second unit after the first one (black & white) from Costco got moisture in the camera and fogged so that it wasn't usable. This one also ended up doing the same thing after about 6 months. It worked great before the water got in, but given that this has happened twice, I'm going with a better quality camera for the next one.

The camera itself stopped sending signals to the screen (the screen still works as I still get other peoples images on occasion). Diagnosis showed + power to camera. UNRELIABLE.

This device has a long way to go to compete w/ built in systems. When you start backing up it turns on but takes a bit for the screen to clear up so you can actually see through it. I have a large 4X4 pickup, so seeing anything behind me is nearly impossible. I can't get something from the factory to assist me. This is the only and next best thing. The 3.5" screen is a good size. Anything less, is just that,LESS. The blue tooth system that is used needs some improvement. It's better than nothing, but don't count on it only.

I bought this camera for my husband's pickup truck and it does not work at all. At first he can see the picture on the screen, but after attaching the loose wire neatly, he cannot see any thing at all on the screen. The wireless signal is so weak that the monitor does not receive any thing from the camera. We then returned the product and look for another one.

I'm using it as a REAR VIEW MIRROR in our motorhome. I mounted the monitor with double-sided tape on the factory rear view mirror. With no straight view of the rear window this really fills a need. I mounted the camera inside the RV on the curtain valance for the rear window. Easy to install the entire unit and the monitor provides just what I need, a view of the rear of the vehicle. Quality of picture is very good. For my usage this product fills my need at a price I can afford.

As advertised. Works as well as more expensive models. Simple hook-up and operation. I liked it so much, I bought a second for my son to use on his RV.

Winplus 3.5" back-up camera works good except at night and dark areas.
picture is blining when is cold.
I use it as rear view camera.
