I've been purchasing these bed trays for almost 20 years now. They are great for reading while in bed or in a lounge chair. You can put the top down and play cards, or use a laptop and mouse on it. The mouse glides real smoothly over the white laminate top. The downside of these bed trays is that the legs break easily. I get about one years use out of them then have to throw them away and purchase a new one. I've tried to glue the legs back together with wood glue but they never stand right once they've come loose. I used to pick these up for $10 around the holidays at a major department store that no longer exists. Now, the only trays I can find in the stores are the one with the permanent flat tops. I'm using one now and it's very inconvenient because I read a lot and the flip top tray allows me to hold a heavy book and turn the pages without holding it in my lap. Unfortunately, I can't find them cheaper then those sold on Amazon, but I have to say they are probably only worth $10 because the construction is not great. Why do I keep buying these then? Well, because they are light weight, fold down so I can put them in a corner when not in use, don't have handles to get in the way, the legs allow them to sit on a surface instead of in your lap, and are good for just about anything you would need a lap tray for.

It is helpful when I'm doing my homework, or eating a mean in bed, but after a couple of uses, one side broke off. We can glue it back on, but I just wanted to warn people not to put anything too heavy on it.

Its extremely useful and easy to use and its foldable feature helps makes storage so much easier. Coupled with the feature where the table has the ability to be tilted for easy reading and adjustable for laptop working makes this a fantastic tool either for breakfast in bed or working from the comfy of your bed.

The only flaw about this is that it is rather heavy and bulky and makes moving around rather difficult

The wood corner of table top became seperated shortly after I started using it. I ended up fixing it with a small nail and woodglue and it seems ok. Other than that I was very happy with the product.

Good product but not the best quality, specially in the wood finish. Appears to be fragile. The price was good at least.

This was a gift for daughter, a music teacher in one of Maine's high schools. She uses this with her computer at night resting on her recliner - which aids her arm which she uses constantly directing the chorus and band. It was great. We were real pleased with the product as well as the service to get it to us.

This thing fell apart within the 4th or 5th use. It is poorly made and I was bothered with myself for spending so much on this tray.

Satisfied with it. Had read reviews that were not too good. Decided to buy it anyway because it is a good price. IM glad I did. Works very well for me to use my computer while sitting on couch.

I purchased this tray a few years ago, but never wrote a review on it. Well...now I am. I use it for a podium when our church's women's group has our luncheons. It's perfect! We set it on top of a small table, and our speakers can tilt it or lay it flat on its legs. It holds our Bible and any other notes or notebooks, and our mic is set up alongside of it. So...even though it's main use may be a bed or computer tray, we use it for a portable podium! It's the perfect size. I highly recommend it!

The finish of side and stand are not nice. Keep scratching my clothes. I have to buy sandpaper to smooth them.
