The nightstand is really sturdy and provides a good storage space. The drawer is sturdy, too, but doesn't pull straight out (kind of slips down).

The side panels aren't real wood - they're more of a printed high-density cardboard. Their color appears a bit greener than the rest of the hardwood, but you can't really tell when it's all assembled. I'd recommend it.

I assembled this night stand in under one hour despite poorly written instructions. It appears to be a fairly solid table and seems to match my Nomad platform bed that I ordered from Amazon. It is not entirely solid wood as suggested. It has what appears to be very thin compressed wood forming the sides. It is fairly light weight but does not wobble. It is a good table for the price and I think I will get another one for the other side of the bed.

Obviously I was not expecting Thomasville or even Ikea, but the quality on these tables was terrible. I ordered 2 of them, and each had its own set of problems, primarily because the parts do not fit! On the first one, the drawer bottom was cut too big, and would not fit into the drawer assembly until I removed about an eighth of an inch of one dimension. One of the drawer support arms would not fit until I hand-trimmed the end (it is a rabbet with a dowel and the rabbet was not wide enough).
On the other one, the main attachment board on the top was split at one end, just where the single screw to attach the back is supposed to go. I had to epoxy and clamp to make it useable. Then the drawer, which on this one assembled easily, will not fit in the opening once assembled. The drawer will not close all the way as the drawer front is a quarter inch too high on one side. I will disassemble and re-cut the dado so that it slides lower on that side to correct this.
Again, I didn't expect much, but I got even less. I kept them because I needed something right away, and I am willing to re-do the shoddy work. But if you are not willing or able to make modifications on your own, stay as far away from these units as possible. They need to buy the factory some tape measures, or at least some that aren't made of rubber.

When I received the product it was missing a piece and another piece was the wrong size. They have instructions on what to do when peices are missing - instructions so specific it leads you to believe this happens often but that is pure speculation. It takes an additional 7-14 days to get the new pieces.

My mom has moved in with me and needed an end table by her recliner in her bedroom so she can put her stuff in and have the tv remote close by ect... This is a perfect size for what she needed. I looked for a long time before I settled on this and I'm glad I bought this one for her.

I was thrilled to find this piece in a lighter/natural color. We have an existing bedroom set that is real wood in a natural finish. Although this table is slightly lighter than our existing set, there are enough color variations in the wood that it still looks like it matches. The piece is very neutral and could really go with any style of furniture.

The only negative I would say is that the front door and side 'inset panels' are a fake veneer piece while the rest of the table is made of real wood. This inset piece doesn't match the color shade of the rest of the unit. The inset pieces are a lighter color and if you look closely, looks completely fake. This is unfortunate, because otherwise the table is really nice. The top, side pieces and drawer are all real wood. I would 'ding' the rating for this, but frankly what do you expect for $40? Once its in the room with whatever decor you have, you really don't notice this.

The piece is sturdy, was relatively easy to put together, and overall looks great. I would have paid more to have the whole thing made out of real wood, but I am very happy regardless!

It went together easily enough, and it looks fine. It's just that when you use it, you can tell that you are not dealing with any kind of quality furniture. The sides and back and bottoms are all particleboard, and it just feels cheap all around. But you know, I guess if you want something that feels like quality, you either need to pay a lot more, or find something in a used furniture/surplus store. If I had more time, I would probably shop around for a higher-quality used piece.

I needed a small piece of furniture for a corner of my bedroom. This was the right size and color. It's perfect for my needs. Given that it is inexpensive the construction isn't perfect; the door doesn't seat perfectly, there's a little gap. It doesn't matter to me because it does everything else so I'm happy with my purchase.

This table is flimsy. It wobbles. It is only partially made of real wood. I have assembled microwave carts, a desk, two
bookcases, and a telephone table. They are solid wood products that do not wiggle around. The Winsome end table is the worst piece of furniture I have ever purchased. I will never purchase furniture from the Winsome mfr. again.

it is exactly what i wanted in looks, but unfortunately very low quality. the drawer keeps getting stuck and not opening/closing smoothly.
