I am an amazon junkie so when I found these chairs (this set is two stools) for $39 with free shipping, I was sold. This price may vary, but when purchased in March 2010, it was $39. I needed something cheap and looking online, most stools start at $150 and go up from there. Seriously? I just need something cheap - really cheap. These stolls arrived a few days ago and are very sturdy: no bending of hinges, no flimsy foot rests - they are somewhat heavy, solid, and the legs are coated with pretty high quality paint. Much better than I was anticipating. The fact that these cost me less than $20 a stool is amazing. The price may vary, but as long as you are paying $30 or less a stool, you are getting a bargain.

For the price and free shipping, this is all I needed. Great quality, sturdy, durable. You could spend a small fortune on barstools if you wanted but these are simple and to the point.
