I built a bar for my house, and I needed to buy 4 stools. $39.00 on Amazon for TWO NEW wooden stools was a bargain (I also have Prime - free two day shipping - which made it even better). You really can't beat the price, even used stools on craigslist are (usually) more expensive.

They arrived in a basic cardboard box, with one upside down and one right side up to kind of mesh together and fit inside the box. While there wasn't additional padding in the box, I had no problem with scuffs or marks on my stools, and they looked nice upon arrival.

Basically, they are well constructed, using solid wood and have a nice, natural finish. There are no problems with loose pieces or uneven lengths, everything just fits and works. There really isn't much to say - they do their job, are comfortable and look great.

For new barstools at this price, I'd have to say don't be hesitant, just pull the trigger. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I needed some stools quickly for staging my home for sale- these were inexpensive and did the job, but aren't terribly comfortable. They were delivered even quicker than the estimate however, so made it here in plenty of time. Overall, they did what I wanted- to suggest the eat-in capabilities of the raised bar in the kitchen.

These are very sturdy stools, look nice and were a great price as well. Might want to invest in the felt stoppers that go on the bottom of the legs to prevent scratching as we did because they have just flat wood on the bottom and will scratch hard wood floors. No biggie though, and still worth it!
