First, I want to say that this barstool is very attractive. Being full wood, it just looks nice - the color, and the construction feels very solid. The swivel option adds a bit to the stool if you need such a feature (which I didn't).
The reason why I rated this 4, instead of 5 stars is the following:
1) The shipping is pretty rough with these stools. I found some bumps and buises on mine. Nothing worth returning, but chipped wood wasn't what I was hoping to get to when I opened this up.
2) The seat pad isn't as comfortable as it could be. You won't want to be sitting on this for hours at a time - but overall it's not bad for the money. The seat is very wide, though...fits the butt quite well.
I'm unsure of if there are better stools for the price..but after hours of searching through Amazon, I was confident that these stools would be the best for the money. I still stand by that, even with the chip in my stool leg.

These are decent stools that look very nice for the price. The packaging was a little weak and one stool had a chip out of it as a result.

The first set of these stools I received had one leg broken. Amazon was very prompt at replacing them seeing as Im a Prime member. I received the second set a few days later and they were intact, however, the stools are very wobbly and it was easy to see that they were destined to break with any use. I immediately called for a return. They do "look" nice, though.

cheap stools
Stools are sub-par in quality. One had a chip out of the foot, and the one we use most(2-3 times a week) has become rickety after only a few weeks. Read more

Disappointed with cracks
I opened the box and pulled out one of two barstools - it looked awesome. Great big seats; seemed like good quality. I was happy with the purchase - $100 for both was a steal. Read more

You get what you pay for.

they arrived broken... nothing more to say! box too thin, just the hassle to find a stool, buy, open the box (that came with a spider by the way), close it, send it back.

Be prepared for a headache.
I really liked the look of these stools. But it took 3 shipments of these to get 2 good stools. After receiving the first shipment both stools had broken or split legs on them. Read more
