Purchased the media stand for a guest room back in 2009. Has a 37" LCD tv with a soundbar on the top shelf and a cable box on the lower shelf. Still in use today and seems durable.

Returned this once already due to the laminate coming off the MDF and a big scratch on it. Second one does not have the scratch but does have the delaminating issue. If the holes are not exactly in the right spot due to poor workmanship the frame bows the wood and makes the laminate go all wavy. It looks like the glue they use for the laminate is not good enough as even before assembly you can see where it is coming off the wood.

Product arrived in good shape and in a timely manner. As far as assembly, it must be easy because my kids did it (without getting into a fight). This is being used as a gaming stand and is perfect for holding the 32 flat-screen and a couple of game consoles. The wife likes the look (clean lines and nice color). These days, most low cost furniture is built using MDF. So I like the fact that if anything happens to the MDF it is not difficult or expensive to replace with hardwood to extend its' use.
