Ordered the quilt rack for my wife. After it was assembled she was very pleased, but she wasn't the one who assembled it. The rack work material is very sturdy and the design is nice. My main concern was the less than perfect manufacturing. The stain looked as if it was hand applied by a group of pre-school kids, although after blankets are on the rack it really isn't noticable. The 6 round dowels that span the rack are end drilled to accept supplied screws. I had 2 dowels that were drilled crooked which made assembly annoying. Fortunately 1 dowel on both the top and bottom are not actually held in place with screws, rather they are held in place by the compression of the 2 side frames and the 4 other dowels. I just placed the 2 poorly prepared dowels in the non-fastening locations. The allen wrench that is supplied for assemble had rounded off corners after I installed 4 screws; no, it wasn't user error rather very soft steel. Therefore, you may end up needing an additional allen wrench to complete assembly. Overall, a decent product for the money and very sturdy once assembled; the wife was very pleased. Just don't expect to receive a product that is of the most perfect quality.

If you are not a honeydo I recommend you honey dont buy this thing , Poorly made and finished I had to redrill all the holes , I had to sand and refinish in several places and even then some places on the wood were so choppy I could not repair . Looks descent after my repairs and does the job but for 60.00 you would think I would not have to practically build and finish myself !

I purchased this for my mother, a serious quilter, and she absolutely loved it. She had been looking for racks for about 3 months and couldn't find any with a style that she loved. However, she loved the traditional yet updated feel and color of this product. She was even more impressed when I told her the price was modest. A nice piece to accentuate your quilts!

I purchased this rack because I needed somewhere to put an extra blanket and additional towels for the guest rooms. I was hesitant because I wanted it in the walnut color, as advertised, even though the picture is much lighter than traditional walnut. It arrived in walnut, somewhat darker than the picture, but not "espresso" or black. It took me 20 minutes to put it together. A second set of hands would have made the job less awkward, but not necessary. Miraculously, all the rods, holes, and screws fit perfectly in the pre-drilled holes. I was expecting the worst after reading some of the reviews. In the past, I've had poor luck when assembling products made in China. Once assembled, the rack was sturdier than I had expected. Just be sure all the screws are tight. I used a cordless driver to start the screws, but finished with a hand screwdriver so I knew exactly how tight the screws were. The rack is large for a small furnished room, but I was able to place it under a window where it was not in the direct path. There is ample room for two large blankets and two sets of bathroom towels. I also found it a bonus to be able to put shoes or slippers on the bottom rods at the base of the rack. I have since purchased two more with equal results.

I was all ready to like this product, but what arrived looks very little like the photo. In the picture it is a medium "honey oak" color, but the actual product is almost black.

Amazon was great about taking the return, but it was a waste of everyone's time. Beware.

I purchased this rack not for blankets but as a clothing rack for pajamas and the day's outfit with room for shoes on the bottom rack. it is a bit larger than I had anticipated so is more conspicuous in my bedroom than I would like but I make do. Once assembled it is reasonably solid and stury and the wood is toned a nice dark cherry color.

The rack was bigger than I expected which is why I rated it only 4 stars. However, it exactly what I needed, it's holds all of my quilts very well. No tilting issues. My husband didn't have any problems putting it together. Love the color. Looks great in my quilt inspired bedroom.

Seems sturdy enough once assembled. You have to hold a round spindle while you are turning the screw; holes were tight for the screws. Unlikely you can assemble with the Allen wrench provided - no leverage and edges quickly rounded. Don't order unless you have a real set of Allen wrenches handy.

The rack was easy to put together, and even with a few flaws in the wood, it looks good. The stain is evenly applied and the finish smooth. The allen wrench (supplied) slipped and was ruined - the corners were rounded off. I had another in the garage, and finished the assembly without problems. I'm very satisfied. And more importantly, my wife is happy displaying her mother's quilts.

This is a beautifully made quilt rack and just what I wanted. My only problem was assembling it. The screws use an allen wrench and a small one is supplied. I had trouble using this small wrench and didn't have the hand strength to assemble the rack. Regular or Phillips screw heads would have been easier to use. My hardware store loaned me a drill with a bit to use, but I still ended up stripping one of the screws. A nice product but different screws would really help.
