The tv trays are NOT walnut. They are a rough oakish finish, not like they appear in the photograph - much lighter. They have lots of imperfections in the wood and really need to have a coat of finish or oil stain applied to improve their appearance. The stand came disassembled without any instructions about how to put it together and no picture about what it should look like. I had to go back to the website to see what I should do with the pieces and that is when I discovered how different the item I received looks from what I thought I had ordered. VERY disappointing!

I had read the previous review and although these tv trays did not have a great review, I decided to go ahead and order them. In saying that, when the tv travys were received - the previous review as stated was exactly true. Number one, for the price you pay for these tv trays, I had much higher expectations. The Winsome Wood TV Trays in Walnut do not look anything like they do in the ad. The wood was very poor quality, there were visible flaws throughout, and I could not believe that ANYONE wood buy these. I am in the process of returning them at this point and would not recommend that anyone order these!

Yes, it's a tad pricey, or at least it seemed so to me. But I knew the wife would really like them so hated to say no. I've got to say, these are ENTIRELY worth the money. Very good quality in the build, heavy duty, easy to assemble the stand, a very good value.
