I purchased this item for my daughter and son in-law for Christmas. They went crazy when they saw it. They just loved it. It looks so nice in their dining room. It adds class when they put some of their fancy glasses in it to show it off. It becomes an extra piece of furniture for serving in the basement or the dining area. I would definitely recommend this to anyone interested in purchasing a similar item. When my daughter was putting it together one of the springs broke on the front door that closes and hides the glasses and keeps them clean. She telephoned the customer service department located on the instructions and they sent all the pieces she needed free of charge and were very helpful on the phone. I looked around at other items of this same nature but this was the one I liked the best and thought looked the nicest and the price was very reasonable. All in all it is a very nice piece of furniture and a great addition to any home or basement for entertaining. I highly recommend this wine butler glass rack.

This piece is fabulous. High quality, durable, classy, and unique. I can't say enough good things about it. Very pleased with the fast shipment as well and great price. We have had numerous compliments on it. It "accidentally" matched perfectly with our new "bar height" dining room table, and this was totally unplanned but the color matches perfectly. Very durable piece.

I was surprised how quickly I received the item after I was told it would take 20-25 days for shipping. It arrived 5 days later. The assembly of the cabinet is pretty straightforward but just looking at the pictures, but not all the parts fit exactly as planned, and is quite frustrating. My major issue was that the drawer that folds down doesn't work as well as I wished. The holes designed to hold the shelf in place were not drilled to the correct size and thus the shelf slips of the stopping point and acts more like a swinging door. All in all I think I paid for what I got and it makes a nice wine butler. As a side note the finish (at least on the top) seems to absorb/released moisture as I had a magazine sitting on the top of it and it left the outlay of the magazine on the top and looked like the finish had aged quite quickly.

First off, they sent me the wrong color. I ordered the Espresso, when in the box was actually the DARK ESPRESSO. Even the box said Espresso. So Stupid. I don't mind because the Dark was higher priced and I paid the lower price. Plus the color actually goes nicely in the room I put it in.

This thing is a real pain in the ass to put together. You should do it with someone else. I started doing it alone and it was a pain. The top dowel joints did not line up perfectly. I actually had to bang a piece that was already together to make sure it was very flush so I could proceed with the dowel joint section.

Second, the instructions are not good. Their are two panels similar in size but for a few inches around. The instructions don't tell you the difference and neither do the panels. You have to do some trial and error. If I recall the smaller panel goes in first then the larger one if you follow the instructions.

Third, as someone pointed out, screwing in these screws is very tough because many of the holes are just too tight. If you use a power drill be careful not to strip the screws. My bag of screws also had a hole in it so be aware so you don't lose any. They give you JUST enough to put the cabinet together and no extras.

Fourth, the criss cross sections are a real treat. This is where a second person comes in handy. They do not snap in but just sit in their sections. Be aware of that. You'll see when you put it together. You SHOULD be able to fit 3 bottles per triangle depending on how you place them.

Once you get past putting it together, it IS a nice piece. Overall I give it 4 stars but 2 stars on putting it together!

This is the first time I bought a larger piece of furniture online. I've been skeptical of a "some assembly required" piece that would get a lot of use but the quality is fantastic. I'm very happy with this purchase.

I received this item for Christmas. When we opened the box and started to put together we realized this was used and had previously sent back to the mfg. How frustrating that the mfg would ship something out to another customer when their product was damaged so badly. There were many scratches, digs, deep scratches on the corners on all parts. We had two boxs of the screws! The Color was not the same on all pieces. The furniture is covered with some type of film on it and could not be wiped off. UGH! We packed it up and called Amazon. Amazon.com was wonderful and helpful! We sent back the Tues after Christmas and received another one 3 days later! Our new one is just ok - The color is not uniform, there were minor scratches on many parts which we will be ordering from the mfg direct new ones and one of the side panels was not together properly so it does not line up. Still a film on the wood but we cleaned it and it seemed to come off ok. The wine holder section is very loose but we are hoping when we get the new side for it this will solve the problem. Very disappointing piece of furniture - I would not recommend this brand to anyone.Seeing that my husband gave this to me as a Christmas gift,I am keeping it. Otherwise I would send this back to the mfg with a letter attached to it. I would however recommend Amazon, pleasant,helpful on phone, speedy service!

Bar is a little darker than the picture,but still a good value. It was bought for the family room and fits right in. Well made.

I am very pleased with this purchase. Assembly was quick. The only 'vague' part of the directions were the criss cross panels for wine storgage. Those didn't exactly go smoothly for me but did get them assembled without breaking (had to force them a bit). Everyone who has seen it says "what a great piece of furniture". The inside storage on top of the butler is good for cheese/appetizer plates, an accessory, and maybe napkins. That's about it. But I didn't buy it for that storage benefit anyway. To sum it up, my old wine rack is now searching for a new home :)

I have been looking for a while for a piece that would match my dining room furniture. This bar is perfect. Color is darker than what shows in the picture (more like a dark espresso) which works for me. It was actually easy to put together and it came very nicely packaged.

I absolutely love this piece of furniture but it took my husband and I forever to put it together. The product came a bit damaged. The top leaf that opens up has these little pieces of wood that keeps them on track and one of those were completely broken in half. We had to super glue it and wait for that to dry before starting the assembly. Some of the holes drilled for the screws were a bit off and the instructions were sort of confusing. Once we spent a lot of time and finally finished it though, it looks great! It is a definite must to buy this if it matches the rest of your furniture and have a need for a wine rack that would fit in a room with not a lot of space. Just beware, this will really test your patience. Really!
