Product Description
We have tried many brands of prestretched canvas; and we have listened to customer feedback as well. One brand that keeps coming out on top is Winsor & Newton. Their prestretched canvases are made with 8oz natural cotton duck. The stretcher bars are 13/16 inch deep, and feature staple free edges- the canvas is stapled onto the back of the stretcher bars, so the edges can be painted to display finished paintings with or without framing. Each canvas is triple primed with acid free sizing and two coats of highly pigmented acrylic primer (gesso). This priming offers balanced absorbency and tooth, while preventing oil paints from sinking or soaking through. The stretcher bars themselves are kiln dried and have beveled edges. Each canvas is stretched by hand, and there is ample canvas on the back if you should decide to restretch the finished painting. Ideal for use with oil, acrylic, and alkyd paints. Perhaps best of all, we are offering these cavases in packages of six.

Misleading advertising,

Item description is entitled ' 18x24 stretched canvas 6 pack." I felt misled by the product description. I thought I was ordering 6 canvases. Instead, the small print indicates that it is really only one canvas. Really need to read the description to understand what you are ordering.

Good but not great,

Normally I build my own frames and stretch my own canvas across them. I bought these feeling all lazy one day thinking they would be just as good but they weren't. Four of them were okay and the other two were skewed beyond usability. I ended up stripping them of the canvas and applying it to my own frames.

This really ticked me off to find out that I only got one when it clearly says that it's sold as a six pack. If it's possible I want my money back asap. I don't understand why some people are receiving only one and then there are the lucky ones who get all six, something tells me that those reviews are fake.
