THE WINSTON BROTHERS is a reissue of three of Lori Foster's most popular short stories. It is being released in anticipation of January's release of WILD, about the fourth, and final, Winston brother. I had previously read all three of the short stories but had to pick this up. Why not? I had enjoyed the three stories and was thrilled that I could have all three in one book.

The first story, TANGLED SHEETS, is Cole Winston's story. He is the eldest and in my opinion, the brother that gets my engine revved up. He is attracted to one shy lady named Sophie. She is also attracted to him, but thinks Cole won't look at her. She pretends to be her (and non-existent) out-going twin. See how Cole finds out the truth and how Sophie finds out he knows. One hot and sensual story to warm your nights.

The second story is TANGLED DREAMS. A little different story line for Ms Foster (paranormal aspects) but she still has the same Midas touch of weaving an interesting story about a guy (Chase Winston), a gal (Allison, who appeared briefly in the first story) and ghosts. Very believable and entertaining. Chase's story will tie you up. Literally.

Finally, we get Mack's story in TANGLED IMAGES. He is the youngest Winston Brother, but he is no young boy in the game of love and romance. He has agreed to model for a lounge wear advertisement. At first he did not want to do it, but when he meets (or gets reacquainted with) the photographer, Jessica, he is definitely interested. Hot hot hot scenes with Mack posing in the underwear. Ms Foster knows how to write sexual tension, and this is a great example of her ability.

You cannot go wrong in picking this up if you are a romance reader.
All three are sensual stories about real guys and ladies who are everyday people. Lori Foster proves why she is the Queen of Short Stories. She knows how to combine characters and words in a short story and make you want more, but never leave you feeling cheated.

There is also included a sneak peek at WILD, which is Zane Winston's story. This is a full-length novel and is highly anticipated by Lori Foster fans. To get a sample of what we have in store, pick up THE WINSTON BROTHERS. You will see what other fans love about her writing.

Cole, Chase, Zane and Mack make up the Winston Brothers. Cole's story starts the book. He is the oldest brother who's raised his 3 younger brothers. He bought a bar (previously known as The Stud) - changed its name to Winston Tavern. The bar is notoriously packed (mostly with female clientele) because of the sexy Winston brothers. All 4 brothers tend and manage the bar... Cole meets Sophie when the brother's create a Valentines Day Contest; Chase meets Allison at the bar during Halloween; and Mack meets Jessica as a favor to his sisters in law, for a male lingerie photo shoot. Each story centers around the bar, the brothers, and their heart-melting charm.

Zane's story is big enough for its own book "Wild".

Very steamy, erotic stories. Great material from Lori Foster. I am hooked on her books for life now!

This book is actually a reprint of three of Lori's stories that appeared in seperate anthologies. I am so happy to finally see the stories in one book. This was a reread for me and I must say one that I didn't put down until I finished the book. The book is a super hot read and for those that missed these stories the first time a must read. Lori has a way of writing that keeps you spell bound until you finish the book. The book is about three brothers Cole(Tangled Sheets), Chase(Tangled Dreams) and Mac(Tangled Images). There is a fourth brother Zane who has his own book(Wild) coming out this January. Lori Foster has written another great group of siblings who are sexy, smart and funny. The heroines in each story more than meet the challenge of loving such great guys. If you haven't ever(as if that is possible) read a Lori Foster book then this one is a great way to get started.

Each story is about one of the 4 Winston brothers and though each story may be shorter in length than a full novel, they lack nothing in the sensual and passionate story telling. These men desire their women so much that their "teeth ache" and her writing is so precise that you feel their sexual frustrations and you can almost hear their moans and groans.

Definitely a dream for the hopeless romantics come true. THE WINSTON BROTHERS turns out to be such a sensation in its separate anthologies - CHARMED, HOT FOR CHOCOLATE, SINFUL - that Lori Foster has gathered the sexy and endearing trio in one book and the fourth brother Zack in the upcoming WILD.
In Tangled Sheet, the eldest brother Cole Winston can hardly control his desire for the innocent and bashful Sophie who frequents his bar. She masks herself to become her twin Shelley to trap Cole with her passionate advances. Chase Winston, the quiet brother becomes crazily obsessed with Allison, an assistant to Sophie when he can hear her inner thoughts with the aid of two ghosts. In Tangled Images, Mack Winston is led unwittingly into a ploy by Sophie to model for her catalogue in male undergarments. He is in for a sizzle when he realizes that the photographer is the serious and strait-laced Jessica Wells who he is enamoured of in his college days....
Sexy, bold and hilarious, Lori Foster shows her mastery at weaving delicious tales with swooning heroes and perfect comedic timing. This compilation is not to be missed for anyone who has a predilection for the winsome brothers.

This book is made up of three novellas first printed in the novellas CHARMED, SINFUL AND HOT CHOCOLATE. I was so happy to hear that the brothers novellas would be in one book. The other Winston Brother Zane has his own book called Wild.

Cole Winston is the oldest brother of this clan. He has helped rear his other brothers since their parents death. Cole is also the owner of Wisnton tavern. He is quite sexy and kind of quiet, I think. Sophie owns a lingerie shop down the street from the tavern and she is always in the tavern asking for Hot Chocolate. Sophie really likes Cole, but doesn't think she will like him, because she is what some might call a PLAIN JANE. She decides to get his attention and the sparks fly.

Chase Winston has a problem, He can hear the erotic thoughts of Allison. Allison works with Sophie in the Lingerie shop down the street. Chase works as the bartender at Winston's Tavern. One day he begins to hear all of Allison's thoughts about wanting him. Chase decides that he is interested and tries to pursue Allison. What he finds is Allison in an old Farm House that is haunted. This story makes for wonderful reading.

Mack Winston has almost met his goal. He wanted to become a school teacher. He is now waiting on the School Board to get him a permanent assignment. Mack is asked to model for a Lingerie Catalog for Sophie. He wants so badly to say no, but she did help him study for some of his classes in college. He agrees to do the shoot, but can't believe who the photographer is. A woman he was really attracted to in college comes face to face with him. He is too irresistable to turn down.

This book was really good. I laughed alot! I really like that. I think Ms. Foster is an excellent author. She has just the right mix to make a story great!

If you want to read a book that is easy to place aside to keep for tomorrow, this is not the one for you. It is hard to close and when you finally make yourself close it, then you won't be able to sleep!

The Winston brothers are very sensual men and any woman would be in seventh heaven to find men like Cole, Chase, Mack and Zane. They know what they want and who they want and they are like the runaway freight train - no stopping 'em.

Lori Foster is a great author who doesn't mind exploring the risque side of romance.

This is a wonderful book to read. Three very very sexy brothers. Also the sequel of Wild about the fourth brother. All of the women are strong and wonderful but these are some of the sexiest yet warm kind hearted wonderful men you will ever want to meet. Too bad I never knew any of them or anyone that nice in my life. But after all it is a novel.

I just discovered Lori Foster a couple of months ago. I have been recommended by Amazon for quite sometimes and so I figured, hey, why don't I give it a try? And boy, am I happy to find out about her! "The Winston Brothers" is the 3rd title from Lori Foster that I have. Although the stories are only anthologies but still they are simply mah-ve-lous!! The only problem is that they are not long enough *grin*

However, even in short stories, Lori Foster has managed to create such wonderful and lovable characters. The stories are fast-paced, funny, hot, and sexy. It simply sizzles!! By the way, my favorite from the 3 stories is "Tangled Sheet" ... the story of the oldest Winston Brothers, Cole, and his sweet Sophie.

The Winston Brothers was an awesomely fast and entertaining read. I loved the quirkiness and inherit eroticism of all the characters as well as their enthusiasm and zest for living. This book got me caught up in the Winstons and the spin-off in Visitation, NC. Don't forget to get Zane's story in Wild. LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
