This grammar curriculum is absolutely the best. As a homeschooler, I'd been using Rod & Staff for all children. It was great for some children but one child just didn't get it. I knew I needed something new. Based on all positive reviews, I purchased Winston Grammar and it has proved to be the best investment in my child's education. What it took years for my other children to understand, Winston Grammar was able to accomplish within months. If dyslexia seems to be an underlying issue, this program is very visual and will help you overcome any confusions about grammar. I wish I would have used this program for my other children. My life would have been a lot easier. Thanks Winston Grammar!!

As a 20 year homeschooling mother of six children, I have found Winston Grammar Basic as a clear, simple, hands-on way to teach grammar. The 30 lessons can be done in only 30 minutes each, and can be done be any child who can read. This means it could be done daily in a month and a half or weekly stretched over the school year. It could be used alone, as a supplement, or as a review.

I used this last year for my 5th grade daughter. It was excellent, easy to use and easy for her to understand. Highly recommend.

I have used this twice now. Once to teach my son grammar when he was in fifth grade, and again to teach my grandson. They did not enjoy it much, but it was quick and easy for them. In 15 lessons we completed what the school program had been trying to do and failed.

If you are teaching a child at home, I highly recommend this program. I wish there was a companion program for punctuation!

I was taught grammar using this method about 35 years ago. I still remember that it made a lot of sense to me as a child, and it's probably the only thing I still remember about English class.
