Don't let the size frighten you,

Granted, this is the eighth and last volume in the series, so the audience at this point is more likely than not the serious Churchill reader. However, that should not take away from the fact that Martin Gilbert wrote these volumes with a readability and clarity that can hold the interest of even a casual Churchill reader.
