Recently I purchased two digital cameras which both take the SDHC media and are capable of 720p and 1080p video. I wanted a speedy card that wouldn't break me in price, and found it with the WINTEC Professional SDHC Class 10 card.

I'd previously used this card: Transcend 8 GB Class 6 SDHC Flash Memory Card TS8GSDHC6 and found noticable lag time between depressing the shutter button and the taking of the photograph. I missed a lot of shots and/or got blurry ones, despite having good cameras: Nikon Coolpix S6000 14.2 MP Digital Camera with 7x Optical Vibration Reduction (VR) Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Silver) and the Olympus SP-800UZ 14MP Digital Camera with 30x Wide Angle Dual Image Stabilized Zoom and 3.0 inch LCD.

The price was what caught my eye and thus the purchase, but I was a bit nervous about the WINTEC brand, as I've never heard of it before. My worries evaporated quickly after the first use. The Class 10 (fast, professional quality of 10mb per second or faster) speed boost was amazing! Wish I'd purchased this card or another Class 10 years ago.

The card comes with a lifetime warranty and is recommended for DSLR's and digital camcorders. Depending upon your settings for your video camera, you can capture 240-360 minutes with this 16gb card, or thousands of photos with your DSLR digital camera.

The packaging was easy to open and the price was right.

There were few reviews for this card when I had purchased it and all seemed to be quite positive. I have recently purchased a DSLR (Canon T3i) that I am using for video in full HD. I purchased two of these cards and everything was working well at first, but every once and a while the recording would stop because the card could not keep up. I am a wedding videographer and this cannot happen during my shoots because I only have one opportunity to get a good shot. Unfortunately, I would not purchase more of these, yet if you are doing photography, or something that can be re-shot if it times out, they will be fine.

Keep in mind that this is not a constant problem and it only happens here and there. But for what I do it is not acceptable even if it were only to happen once. I will use these cards during the bridal preparation and reception during those shots that are not nearly as important as the ceremony itself.

So overall, as a casual user, these are fine. As a professional, I'd shy away from these. I have had luck with the sandisk extreme, yet they are quite pricey. I hope this helps in your search!

UPDATE: I have just noticed there are more reviews then when I had purchased these, and many seem to be really enjoying this product. This may be an issue with the canon T3i, so it may be worth a try and if you have issues you can always return it.

I needed something bigger for my canon sx130is. The 4gb card would not let me take video and have enough room for shots after. This card gives me plenty of room. I no longer have to swap cards during a vacation which is nice. I just put it in and formatted the card in the camera and works like a charm. Great card great price.

I wanted an extra card for my Canon Rebel EOS T3i and the Wintec Filemate Class 10 SDHC caught my eye with its speeds and low price.

I'd previously used this card: Transcend 16 GB Class 10 SDHC. I got it for around the same price when it was a gold box deal but the price has gone up a little bit so there is nothing that can compete with the Wintec at its low price.

Class 10 guarantees a speed of 10mb/s and it definitely delivers otherwise it would not work well in DSLRS that require at least a class 6.

The card comes with a lifetime warranty same as Transcend. The packaging and warranty guidelines listed on Wintec's website was similar to Transcends.

It comes with a nice little plastic carrying case inside the plastic retail package. The little carrying case is perfect for storing as my spare card and fits nice into my bag.

I formatted it in my camera and tested both shooting stills and video. It performed on par with the Transcend.
It could record the maximum 12 minutes of video with no buffering problem of lower speed cards.
It took 6-7 continuous shots before slowing down while holding down shutter.

I haven't given the card a speed test comparison with software yet but will update this review as soon as I do.
