I noticed that this CD only had two reviews, and for one that I believe to be so excellent, that's uncalled for. There's a soft smoothness that goes along with The Brilliant Green's music that I haven't heard in anything with the same higher pace found in pop/rock music. It's much appreciated, and the most notable thing I can say about The Winter Album. I don't know Japanese, so I can't say anything about the effectiveness of the lyrics or how poetic or well-done they are. But I don't feel I need to. The language barrier is non-existent for me, because this stuff just sounds nice. There's music for a walk at night or a drive mid-day, for the best or worst mood. I originally ordered this CD just because I loved Forever to Me after hearing it somewhere, but that ended up being a love for the band as a whole. Unfortunately there's not a lot to discuss about legitimacy of music without discussing the lyrics, which I don't understand. Suffice to say, all the instruments work together well with Miss Kawase's excellent voice, and they do so continuously across every track. Not one piece is skippable. Sure, you could wait till next Winter for this CD to be more fitting, but then you wouldn't get to hear it for months!

This album was great! My absolute favorite song is Rainy Days Never stays <3 The rest of the album was quite different which kind of disappointed me at first but then it grew on me. Tommy's voice is definitely different from other japanese singers but I like it a lot.

Tomoko's voice is really different than many other Jpop singers, but it fits perfectly with the songs. The best ones are Holiday, Flowers, Rainy Days Never Stays, and Forever to Me. There are a few sons in full English (much less than normal Brilliant Green albums though). This is a wonderful CD for all Jpop fans to get.
