Winter: An Alphabet Acrostic some fun season related poems
Acrostics are neat because you get to read them across and down. This book is full of 26 of them all related to winter. The illustrations are vivid and show the joy of the season. There is a wide variety of activities and words used in this book to make this a great book to read at any part of winter to talk about the fun and unique aspects of the season.

Ordered this book at christmas time for my daughter who home schools. She was very happy with it. It arrived in wonderful condition.

I absolutely love this book. I read it with my son from age 1 on. I think the poems are great. He learned new vocabulary and so did I. I found it in a bookstore a few years ago and was rivited by the acrostic for Y about yearning for spring. It's a great book for any child.
