Goes along with other book I just reviewed that I got for my daughters' January classroom
study - they are kindergarteners and will learn all about snow and can incorporate this book in their projects. Illustrations are wonderful and makes winter fun!

A must for your children's library,

We love this entire series of books on the seasons. The illustrations are fabulous, and the books capture the essence of each season perfectly. My children love just looking at the pictures over and over again. We checked these books out from our local library so many times that I decided we needed to invest and buy our own copies.

It's Winter,

I like this book to read to children at least 7 and older. It is a wonderful book to discuss winter with them and it has a very good educational component to it. It is not just saying "in winter is cold" It actually makes people understand about winter and it being one of the seasaons of the year.

With beautiful cut-paper art work,
By Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: It's Winter! (Celebrate the Seasons) (Library Binding)
It's Winter is the third book in a highly recommended series of four titles on the various seasons, and is packed with insights about winter, beautiful cut-paper art work, and suggestions for activities to enhance an appreciation of the season. All this comes in the form of a first-person story of a girl who observes and appreciates the pleasures of winter.
