This is such an excellent cd. Many of these songs done by this mix of artists sound better than the original recordings. Best example is "WHEN THE MONEY'S GONE' which Cher did on her last cd. I love Elton John's version done here. I think it's a better rendition of an outstanding song.
Get this cd you will love it.

I heard this CD at borders and loved it after only 5 minutes of listening. I didn't buy it right away, and that was a mistake. I couldn't stop thinking of the glorious music I had heard, so after about 5 days I ran to the store and just bought it. This CD (particularily disc 1) never leaves my CD player since i've gotten it. I listen to it all the time. It's a good crowd pleaser when people come over. Everyone always asks if they can borrow the CD. Oh hell no, it's mine, get your own! My personal favorites are lighthouse, it's a fine day, when the money's gone, and heaven knows... Buy the Cd, and get your groove on

A nice break from all of the pots-n-pans of late. The first CDis very "Morning Party-ish", the second is a little moredancy. I was not a big fan on Monty Q or Tony Moran until I bought this CD. It was playing at someones beach house in PTown this year, and after listening to it for 10 minutes, I got up, walked down the street and bought it. It now rarely sees the outside of my CD player. Best $ I've spent all summer PS: The remix of "Lighthouse" will send you to another place.

Two discs jam packed with club hits and tracks you'd rarely find on CD, including hidden gems waiting to be discovered. High is a slammin Tony Moran mix (his mix is better than the song), here in it's near full length. Track 2 is a looped filter disco track of a Sister Sledge sample. It's a Fine Day is as annoying as ever. The Santana & Bailey mix of Joi Cardwell-it just doesn't get any harder and more peak hour than this brilliant mix. After that, things get rather `sweet' for a while-a bit too happy for my tastes. Martha Wash chimes in on the haarmeyer mix of "Listen to the People." And Elton John, Bruce Roberts and Kristine W team up for a version of "When the Money's Gone," in a Warren Rigg mix. The final track on disc 1.-AWFUL Latin guitar instrumental. Just awful. Disc 2 blows your mind with its first track--a 9 minute peak hour version of Donna Summer's "Heaven Knows" by Michelle Weeks. Some light house and filter disco follows, and then things get hard again with the phenomenal Hex Hector mix of Shannon's "give Me Tonight" running more than 9 minutes!!! "When the Rain Comes Down" is a melodic female vocal circuit anthem. You get less than 5 minutes of the slammin Junior Marathon mix of "sssst....listen." "Emotions" by un unknown artist, was eventually released as by "Elle Patrice", and this 10 plus minute tony moran production is a peak hour diva anthem. It segues into another vocal circuit stunner, "The Beat," an incredible, high energy way to end this set. Track times:

This collection of high energy cheese is at moments thrilling ,at other times repetitive and irritating.Superb production onthe Gloria Estefan album "Gloria "wasthe impetus for me buying this Tony Moran mix . Kunte Latino,Music all over the world,Casa Forte and excellent rework of Lighthouse Family make the C.D rise above schlock.When the money's gone , and some of the sequencing on the second disc had me reaching for my Tony Humphries C.D s and wondering whether my money could not have been better spent elsewhere.
