While there are other CDs by John Tesh that I thoroughly enjoy, this CD is definitely my favorite. The music is very relaxing, soothing, peaceful, and makes for excellent study music. The CD is a mix of classical tunes and original modern tunes by Tesh. The CD includes classical guitar, grand piano, and full orchestration. Every song has it's own life and there is a nice texture and range to the music. The CD includes songs from Bach, Corelli, Bisharat, Puccini, and more. It also contains 2 original songs by Tesh; "Dear Unknown," and "Goodnight Marie." If you are wanting a CD that contains peaceful classical type music which also has a slight Christmas or winter atmosphere to it, then this is the best CD out there that I am aware of. Just sample some of the songs for yourself.

This is great music to fall asleep to, read a book to, or snuggle up by a cozy fire. It is warm and pleasant. Brings out nostalgic feelings. I recommend this to any fan of good music.

This is one of the most played and loved CD's in my personal collection. The music is beautiful and relaxing, the perfect background or reading music. I also listened to this music while in labor with my second child! I highly recommend it!

This compilation of music is so amazing. I can fall asleep listening to this music at night, and I usually wake up in the middle of the night and turn it on again so I sleep better. It is so relaxing to listen to, and you can do ANYTHING while you are listening to it. Studying, homework, papers...even cleaning your house; it is great!

This is the most beautiful CD I have ever listened to and have purchased it for many friends, at thier request.It suits any occasion and it can be the most important sound in the room or it can mellow into the group that you dont even realize it is on until you realize you are humming along.Don't risk not being able to get this wonderful compelation. Truthfully Tesh's best work!

this would be the one I would choose. John Tesh does in incredibly haunting rendition of these classical masterpieces! It is simply a stunningly beautiful piece of music.
