Winter in White: A Mini Pop-up Treat (Classic Collectible Pop-Up)

It is "mini" little all-white treat, but it is also clever and entertaining, just as one would expect from the master of paper engineering. It even has a twirling skater! A nice little addition to the collector's bookshelf, or a sweet little gift for someone to whom you'd like to introduce the pleasure of enjoying this artist.

One of the best pop-up books I've seen this year, this little treasure combines pastel pages with white pop-ups to create charming abstract art. Some of the displays add extra touches -- a child on a sleigh holds a rope of white string; two doves tie a red ribbon; an ornament hangs off the antler on a reindeer. Other images show snowflakes. a snowman, an angel, a twirling ice skater and a snow-covered tree. The cover has some foil stamping.

Although the pop ups are not especially difficult,the feelings it illustrates about winter are truely spiritual. For the adult who has everything, this would make a good present. I think it is just lovely.

The perfect stocking stuffer or a really special card for those friends that deserve more than just a card. I got twelve copies initially and after receiving the order realized that I will probably need to get more. Just make sure that you keep one for yourself. Truly special.

This will not disappoint. I look forward to his christmas pop up every year. It was wonderful.

This is a great book. My mother bought it for my younger siter for Christmas. Each year we get a new pop-up book by Sabuda. They are all very nice, and this one is as beautifull as all the others. In addition to Sabuda's books my other favorite author is Nowiki, the author of the series Why Some Cats are Rascals, Book 2

Every year I purchase one of R. Sabuda's pop-up books for the holidays. This is the one for this year and it is a really sweet book. I place the books out for my guests and family to browse through and this year's book was a hit. It isn't an epic novel, but something short but with so much detail that you keep looking at each page over and over again.

I'm a snow deprived and displaced Yankee living in Florida.

Combine my love of snow and pop-ups (and Mr. Sabuda), and I found this lovely little book which I bought as a gift. It is a small book, but one that will be read and re-read each winter, and the pop-ups are enchanting
by themselves.

A small, simple, and simply lovely little volume, and when you open it up,
you have winter and good cheer.

We purchased and gave over 300 of this delightful book at Christmas this year ... Sabuda is a master at evoking squeals of delight and gasps of wonder at extraordinarily intricate creations that literally do "pop" off the page! Don't miss ANY of his editions ... this is just one more in a library of wonders!

Just what the title says " Winter in White". Very nice pop up!
This is not a book for little hands to hold. They love to look
at it but better the adult to show them.
