I bought two of the Blu-ray Christmas scenery video's through Amazon and have not been disappointed yet...
The picture quality is amazing and great to listen to while lounging around the house. I tried to put it on while I was cleaning and decorating the house, BUT, I recomend you turn the TV off if you plan to do so... I couldn't stop watching all the wonderful quality video and got very little accomplished!!! :-)
As for the music, its nice and well composed... I'm just more of a traditional Christmas music type of person and would rather hear the classics. But for a change of sound it was GREAT!

This is a must buy if you appreciate this genre of blu-ray ... HD quality video of winter scenery with your choice of 6 Christmas music programs, all digitally mastered in Dolby 5.1 surround sound.

The Winter Wonderland scenes are all breathtaking ... especially the fresh snow falling on the pine trees and the crystal clear rivers coursing through picturesque snow capped mountains.

For the most part, the picture quality is exceptional. However, in a few of the scenes there is a bit of noise (sparkle) - for this, I took away one star.

Although this blu-ray is has only 46 minutes of video, the choice of six Christmas tracks gives you over 4 hours of music. I loved switching from Choral Favourites to Jazz, Harp, Bluegrass traditions, Piano and Saxophone ...

Dolby 5.1 Christmas music with a High Definition Winter Wonderland video playing in the background is a must have for your holiday family parties. At under $12, this HD blu-ray is a great deal!

I ALSO RECOMMEND: A Stained Glass Christmas with Heavenly Carols (Widescreen) [Blu-ray] - it's a great bargain at $9.98 with lots of Holiday music and video of bright stained glass church windows.

I was very well pleased with this. The scenery is awesome. The details in high-def brings my 52" LCD to life. An added bonus was the options to play different types of music while watching. Like classical, harp, bluegrass and various others.

Brought a perfect mood to a winter celebration dinner. Beautiful photography; wonderful music. Everyone wanted to know where to get it.

The video is nice, but I wish that there was an option to just hear the natural sounds. There are several choices of various music styles, but all of the ones that I chose (I chose to listen to 1/2 of the various choices because I knew I would not enjoy the others) were of Christmas music. I was looking forward to enjoying this all year round, but since my choices are all Christmas music this will limit the time I actually watch the video.

I put this DVD on Christmas morning as the kids were opening presents. The instrumental soundtrack was relaxing and the winter images were wonderful. A couple days later we had an extended family gathering, and again I put the DVD on (this time with the holiday piano soundtrack). It made for a great background to the day, and I only turned if off when the kids were ready to try their hand at Rock Band. I can't imagine many other uses for the disk, but it's great to have on hand for holiday parties.

These ambient type discs are good for gatherings where people are too distracted to follow a narrative, but it does give them something to look at and talk about. All of the instrumental music tracks are nice, and the fact that you get more than four hours of it is worth the price in itself. I do agree with the reviewer who wrote that they should have included a track with non-holiday music. If you're watching this on your own, you'll notice that the Hi-Def video is sharp and clear. Brings to mind the nature footage used to end "CBS Sunday Morning," kind of like staring out the window at beautiful scenery. It's relaxing, but at 45 minutes it can also get monotonous. I wish they had made this a little more interesting by showing people on a ski lift, more wildlife, architecture, or flying shots from a helicopter. Next time, how about a DVD with just images and music that's so interesting you can sit and watch the whole thing without getting bored?

Not really christmas. Sounds like being in a Mall or Doctors surgery. Managed to annoy a few friends and family by playing on Christmas Day. Consigned to the rubbish heap
