This was a fine product but what wasn't mentioned in Amazon's write up of the product was that it is for flute with piano.

I already own James Galway's other book "Celtic Legends" and loved it so much that I decided to buy this one as well. I had not listened to the CD before, which I would recommend doing before you get it. My sister and I started playing through the book, and it was not what I was expecting. Some of them are very repetitive and somewhat new age sounding. The further we went, the more we liked it. However, there are a few gems. My favorites are "Thousands are Sailing," "The Gartan Mother's Lullaby," and "Home Away From Home." I bought this book mainly because I needed more wedding prelude music, and I will certainly use the three songs that I just mentioned!

Another winner for Coulter! He is, and this CD is without a doubt one of the finest. This music soothes the mind and takes away the stress. This is a smile for the soul.

The melodies in this collection are not the least bit impressive. They seem like something a writer would doodle while waiting for a good idea. Repetitive and bland. I've enjoyed some combined efforts from Galway and Coulter in the past, but I think I'll look elsewhere for a while.
