I bought this dough scraper for use with making bread. However I now also use it to slice foods and to scoop the contents from the cutting board into a pan for cooking. I also use it to sweep crumbs off the counter or table. It is hard plastic and stainless steel so it will outlast me. It is cheap enough to buy even if you are not sure you would use it often.

This dough scraper was ground flat as it arrived, but if it weren't it would be easy to grind it flat and sharpen it if desired. I chose this model due to combination of low cost and simple design. If I lost it I would buy another one.

WHAT THIS PRODUCT DOES:
-Easily scrapes dough off the counter
-Washes up nicely
-Is very shiny

WHAT THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT DO:
-Perform magic tricks
-Summon unicorns
-Produce fairies

This scraper does its job admirably and is easy to clean. It works well for its intended purpose, but it does not have any of the special features (magic tricks, etc) that I had expected.

Okay for the price, but I would go for the plastic handle the next time because of the weight of the wood. Also, the handle was a little loose on the one that I received, but you get what you pay for right?

This little gadget is great! My only complaint is the Made in China Sticker that is affixed to the blade is nearly impossible to get off without lots of scrubbing! If the sticker is a requirement, I would have preferred it to be on the handle, not on the blade where the residue left behind might come in contact with my food.

I had one of these but lost it in one of my many moves. This is great and I use it just as much as the old one. I use it to transfer cut things into bowls or pans as well as scraping up dough and other things that stick.

Very pleased with my purchase (Stainless Steel handle). Well made, very heavy duty stainless steel should last forever. Will never bend or flex! Fairly sharp blade. I will use for doughs etc., can't see using for chopping of any real kind. Completely not pleased about the cheap non-removable sticker on the blade - but nothing a little hot water and Goo Gone won't fix I guess. My sticker indicates made in India.

I use this for my soap. I was tired of getting odd cuts when using a knife. It would be nice to find one that is a little wider but in the same price range. Great product!

Winco DSC-3 Dough Scraper w Wood Handle

I dont buy much of anything, but when I do, I research the hell out of it to make sure I'm getting the highest quality product and something that's going to last for many many years, never to be replaced. In looking for a dough scraper, I wanted a wood handle, not a stainless handle, and not a rubberized/plastic/nylon/poly handle. There's just something natural and grounding about the wood. Yes, this scraper is made in China, and yes, I usually try to stay away from such things bc they tend to break or fall apart and cannot be repaired. But made of little more than a strip of wood and a sheet of stainless, I couldnt be happier with this scraper. It's much nicer and heavier duty than I was expecting and I love the heft to it. The long edge of the exposed stainless is 5 7/8" long by just shy of 3" wide and the handle adds another 1 5/16" to the short edge width of it. The steel's a solid 1mm thick and the rivets appear to be stainless. My scraper did NOT have an irremovable sticker on the blade as some other reviewers have said, though there was some sort of cloudy residue all over the blade and handle (it's not oil...I dont know what it is) but nothing a little soapy water won't fix. And the blade edge is flat and square. Some other reviewers seem to be looking for a beveled/sharpened edge. This is a /scraper/. You could use it to cut marshmallows or soaps or probably even root veg if you dont mind a little bruising, but for you ppl out there looking for a quick option to dice up some onions or mince a bit of parsley, buy a damn knife. Before ordering, I was deciding between this scraper, a similar wood-handled scraper for half the price and rubberized plastic-handled scraper with a ruler printed on the blade (from a popular, reputable manufacturer) for twice the price. I didnt think I'd care for the plastic handle or the extra cost, and I didnt want to risk dissatisfaction with the low-cost scraper. All in all, I couldnt be happier with this one.

tldr: This scraper's much nicer, heavier duty, and more durable than I expected and I highly recommend this solid and affordable option.

(and if China lets me down and the rivets snap or the wood splits or whatever, I'll be sure to update the post.)

The Winware Stainless Steel Dough Scraper is perfect when working to divide dough or scrape up bits from a floured surface. It is also appropriately priced. You certainly Win with this Ware.

I bought this one and the all stainless steel with the rounded handle. This one fits my hand much better. I love it! Nice sharp edge to cut with and great for scraping up veggies and things. Highly recommend this. Only thing that would make this better is if it had measurements on the edge of it like some of the other ones I looked at.
