I was glad to finally find a reliable handbook on the WFT. This book did provide good information for any new puppy owner focusing on certain aspects of the WFT. The chapters on grooming and training were very beneficial. Although I felt a little overwhelmed with the history chapter it was interesting. The pictures throughout the book are beautiful. Since I have not been able to find any other books on the Wire Fox Terrier I would recommend this one to others.

First and formost, if you are thinking of getting a Wire Fox, (or as my family call them, "Frankie dog's" -thats the name of our litte terroir) get one. They are the sweetest things on earth, and deffinatly the cutest also. Now for the book, talk about quality! We have had our book for about 6 years, and none of the pages are even ripped. The book gives detailed history of the breed, tips on feeding them, grooming them, and taking care of them. One time we wanted our groomer to cut Frankie a certain way, so we brought in the book and showed the groomer, she was so amazed and wanted to buy it off us! I have never had such a complete and thorough book that has beauty at the same time. Sometimes my mom and I will think that Frankies ears are in a weird position, or his stance is irregular, we just look in the book and sure enough, he's fine :) *****Overall~~~~ Great buy!

I am the first-time owner of a Wire Fox Terrier. While I've owned dogs in the past, I was looking for a book that provided additional information into the Wire Fox Terrier's temperament and care. This book isn't bad, but was not as insightful as I had hoped. As other reviews have stated, this book focuses primarily on the breed's history and breed standards. The section on grooming is very helpful and is the only reason why I'm keeping the book. A good portion of the information provided is readily available on the internet.

Nice pictures with good information. Found better and more concise books however.

The photos in this book will make you fall in love with the breed!
