I ordered two of these USB wireless adapters. The first installed on a Windows 7 32-bit system with good results. I wasn't able to install the second one on a Windows 7 64-bit system. It hung up during install and the only way I could get out was to cut power. After that, Windows would not start normally. I had to do a system recover to an earlier date before I could use the computer again. I went through this twice. The aborted installs left files on my machine that were difficult to remove. My advice: Don't forget to make a system restore point before trying to install one of these things. The one on the 32-bit system is working good at a low price so I don't feel too bad about the whole thing.

Decent at filtering noise
Worked fine with Win7 32bit. New drivers are on the Ralink site, called the RT2070. Not for weak or far away signals because it doesn't have a directional antenna. Read more

Compile instructions for Linux driver incomprehensible
You shouldn't have to have a degree in computer science to compile a Linux driver for a wireless adapter. A little more care in writing the instructions would be most appreciated.

works good but is big
It works very good, the internet speed is quite hight, but the adapter is big and doesn't look good. Anyway, it worths the price you pay for it.
