I bought a VR3 Wireless Back-up Camera System with 3.5" screen, and installed on my silverado crewcab.my neighborhood has a lot of kids playing in the street.everytime I try to backup my car from the driveway makes me worry.They are often showing up behind your car when you try to backup.Now I can see them clearly,pictures are very clear even in the dark.It is good to use in a tight parking lot also, after a couple days of use I can judge the distance pretty well.This is a very good product.I am thinking about to install one for my wife's Astro mini van,or a Christmas gift for my brother in Texas,he has a trailer and a big van.

I installed the camera as instructed and it worked really well sitting still, but when actually moving the picture would break up. So I ordered the extension cable and the picture is clear all the time. It took a little more time to run the cable, but it is well worth it. I even hooked the camera up to a switch so it can be on while driving. It now works like a charm! If you're looking for a reverse camera, this is a very good choice if you get the cable and hardwire it.

I installed my camera on a 2005 full size pickup truck hoping it would help me to see behind my truck. Unfortunately the interferance (black horizontal lines) on the monitor is so bad it's difficult to really see what you are trying to view. It is only 12' from the camera to the monitor. Perhaps if you spent the extra money and purchased the hard wire cable it would become acceptable.

My husband has trouble turning his neck to look back, and although he doesn't drive a truck or van or RV, I thought this would be the perfect thing for him. I did a LOT of research, looked in stores, talked to people, and finally decided on this back-up camera kit as teh perfect Christmas gift.

I was not disappointed. He loves to tinker with cars, and so had a great time installing it himself. The picture is clear even at night, and since the monitor is portable, we have considered just a camera for our second car.

The system I received did work as advertised. However, when in motion or in particular locations, the picture is subject to "noise" (i.e., it isn't clear). Being wireless, I can tolerate it; for those that can't, it may be best to purchase the hard wired option. I park in an underground garage. The lighting condition is dark, but I'm able to see fine. My particular installation was very easy with the most difficult step being tapping into the reverse tail light wires. I was most impressed with the kit itself as it had everything I needed (e.g., tap, screws, tie wraps, etc.). Overall I would recommend this kit and would have given it 5-stars if the wireless picture was more stable.

Very pleased with the VR3 Back-up camera. Great picture quality and easy to use monitor. Probably the best for it's price range. Buried in the small print is a warning, not for continuous use because the camera will overheat. This would not be a problem when using as a back-up camera on your auto. I connected the camera to a 10.5 volt supply and now use it continuous as a back up camera (rear view mirror)on a tracked skid loader.

With its 3.5 in screen and wireless technology this is the best product in this price range. As long as you are moderately skilled with your hands you can hook this up. Okay, not in 15 minutes, but it is not difficult to do. The picture is great ... sometimes interference is a bother but not enough to make me want to hard wire the system. I am very pleased.

I installed this (wireless) in my crew cab Toyota Tundra. The daytime picture is fair at best, and poor at night. In reading other reviews, I see this can be much improved by hard wiring. I'll buy the cable and try that.

This product could have been amazing if this system had better night reception. If the parking lot is well lit at nite then reception is good, but its not good at all if you are in dark area. Day time reception is excellent although sometimes it flickers, simply powering off and on the monitor solves the problem right a way. Great product for a price.

I DRIVE A CAMERY 09 IT WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL BECAUSE THE BACKING LIGHTS ARE ON THE TRUNK SO I DONT HAVE TO PULL AROUND WIRES. I HAVE IT FOR THREE WEEKS WORKS GREAT BUT WHEN I HAVE MY BLUETOOTH ON THE SCREEN BLURS UP AND SOMETIMES WHEN I DRIVE I CAN PICK UP OTHER WIRELESS CAMERAS BUT FOR THE PRICE ITS AN EXELENT BUY
