Well, electronics are not always what they seem. It did work for a few weeks. I reset it, I re-synced it, changed batteries, wow it works, but the temp in the pool sensor is 5 degrees higher than the receiver. I would not recommend it to anyone. Buy a 10.00 pool thermometer unit and pick it up out of the pool to see the temp.
