This wireless doorbell is awesome. The range is incredible, the sounds are very loud and can be heard throughout the entire house. And I like the fact that I have a choice of 5 different sounds. I added a second bell push to my back door which also operates this doorbell. Great product!

My house is 80 years old and the wiring for my doorbell was simply shot. A trip to the hardware store first introduced me to the possibility of wireless. The advantage, of course, was no costly rewiring. But the disadvantage was plain. Wireless doorbells on the market are tacky looking at best and many have spotty coverage. A cheap looking white plastic doorbell held in place by adhesive is not what you want at the entry way to a gracious home.

Enter Jacob Jensen (stage right?). A sleek, beautiful design; crisp, clear sound that can be heard all throughout the four floors of my home. Installation was a breeze and the package included all batteries and mounting gear required.

Well worth the $79 price from a vendor on Amazon, about equal to other "high end" but chintzy looking wireless doorbells you might find on the market.

I cannot attest to durability as it has just been installed. But this is a well engineered product.

Update - I have now had this doorbell for 13 months and it continues to work just fine. The batteries have needed to be replaced once. All things considered this product remains an elegant wireless solution.

I have tried several wireless doorbells and this one is by far the best. The wireless range is excellent and interior portion of the doorbell is quite attractive.

I've bought three wireless doorbells in the past that either don't work at all, or stop working after about a week or so. This doorbell is going strong through the middle of a pretty hefty Northeast winter. It looks fine, it was simple to install, and it sounds good. It's slightly more expensive than some other models, but it works and it's still cheaper than rewiring the front hall. I'm very satisfied.

We recently remodeled and added on a Family Room. When the TV is on in the new Family Room, there is no way to hear the doorbell located in the back hallway.

Rewiring would cost several hundred dollars so we started evaluating wireless doorbells. What a bunch of junk is out there! After three trials in the $30, $50, and $70 range, I finally gave up and took a flier on the Jensen.

What a great piece of engineering this is! The sound is very clean, with great volume, and a variety of musical melodies. Everyone comments on it. The first one proved so popular and worked so well, we bought a second and now have the whole house covered. Great product!!!

Good range, can be heard on all three floors of my house when properly located. No comment on battery life yet as it is new. Very sleek looks, and quite small. I expect the battery replacement for the button will be expensive as it holds two CR type batteries, maybe $10 to replace, hopefully not very often.

I recently purchased this wireless doorbell system and found it to be a very good buy. I really like the look of the system and the ring tone options. I would recommend it highly for anyone needing a cool wireless system.

If you are putting this unit near any garage door that uses a radio signal from a remote device like a hand held opener your car or a remote pad, DO NOT install. no matter what radio setting you use it will knock the doors off and you cant use them. I have two garage doors and they both went down. The repair guy came and reset both doors and left. At first he thought maybe someone was trying to open the doors and the security settings in the doors disabled them. That afternoon someone rang the door bell and both doors stopped operating again. it was determand that the doorbell was the cause. So be warned
