The zBoost YX012 Outdoor Grounding Kit is a safety item that should be used on all external mount antennas. Protects against electrical shorts or a nearby lighting strike. The antenna ground provides a lower path to a safe discharge point. Also grounding the antenna will "drain off" electrical noise leaving a cleaner signal. Included in the Kit: Qty. Other reviews have stated that the stuff in this kit is stuff you could have bought at a local hardware store for cheaper. That's probably true, but if you're like me and you have the bare minimum of handyman expertise, it comes in handy to have everything you need with directions just sent to you. Easy to use and easy to install, as long as you have easy access to a good grounding site. You'll want to think that through as you're figuring out where you want to install your equipment.

I bought the outdoor antenna grounding kit to go with the Wireless Extenders YX510-PCS-CEL Dual-Band Cell Phone Signal Booster. I wanted to have everything on hand.

I used a few of the pieces in the kit, but I realized later that I could have made up or purchased the kit's useful bits myself for far less. I don't recommend the product.

Excellent product for grounding. Came with various connections to connect to water pipes, conduit etc.
