I purchased this product & used on an offshore rig to transfer the outside signal 2G & 3G to my room inside accommodation. The result was totally disappointing as the signal is most of the time is false or no signal. I really regret to purchase such crap. Don't use this item it's fake.

I was a bit skeptical but I bought my daughter the AT&T version a couple years ago and it seemed to work ok. I live over seas now, I won't say where because I'm not sure this thing legal here. My house has a metal roof and high metal privacy fence around it so it's a bit of a faraday cage . All I could get on my iPhone 4 was 1 bar, occasionally, more often than not it showed SOS only. Put the outdoor antenna on the roof and the base in the house and now I get 4 or 5 bars. Well worth the money.

Make sure you install the outside antenna where the GSM signal is stronger, in my case (in Switzerland, Orange's network) on the roof, then install the internal antenna centralized on the area you need. In a small house with 2 floors and total 120m2 it doesn't reach the edges. Don't expect to have this equipment's benefits in a 250m2 as advertized! It won't reach over 10meters! And the worst is that the signal gets weaker as you speak! And it gets worst if you have an iPhone 4... the worst mobile antenna ever! I recommend it as a solution if you can buy it cheap, and if you have no other solution. Don't expect it to solve all your network problems. In the other hand, it's easy to install and looks cool where installed.
