RF Wireless Green Laser Pointer with Page Up/down Presentation Function,
This review is from: RF Wireless Green Laser Pointer 5mW With Page Up/Down Presentation Function-Green Laser (Electronics)
RF Wireless Laser Pointer with Page Up/down Presentation Function-Green Laser. This so far has been a great device. Bright Green Laser, only three buttons and "Laser" is clearly identified. Easy use on Mac and PC. Mac does recognize as a new device (just close those dialog windows out and you're good to go).Satechi Storefront was great on their service and delivery. Only somewhat negative is the up button is actually down for PowerPoint. Great device for a great price.

works great, bright laser, fair price, uses AA batteries....the only "negatives" I can think of: device could be smaller and oddly the up button is down and the down button is up.

The most user-friendly laser presenter,
This review is from: RF Wireless Green Laser Pointer 5mW With Page Up/Down Presentation Function-Green Laser (Electronics)
This is absolutely the most user-friendly laser presenter I've ever used. It featured with a 3-button stylish design, sensitive RF wireless signal receiver, and powered by 2 AAA batteries. I can literally walk around the room during the presentation without any interruption or delay on the slide show page-down/up function. You actually don't need to read the instruction, just plug in the USB receiver, open your file, and you are ready to go.

Be careful with this product!!!,
This review is from: RF Wireless Green Laser Pointer 5mW With Page Up/Down Presentation Function-Green Laser (Electronics)
I bought this laser pointer just lately, initially it worked very well, now it doesn't work at all, no laser emission even I replaced with the new fully charged battery, but the up/down buttons still work. I guess the green laser diode inside this laser pointer is bad in quality. I suggest you be very careful with buying something like this from unknown online source instead of directly from Amazon.

Somebody used a green laser for a presentation I attended recently and I noticed how much brighter and easy to see it was compared to a red laser. I teach technical courses from time to time and I had to have one. I'm not big on the presenters that have 65 different functions. I just wanted one with page up/down and a green laser so this is exactly what I was looking for.-Presenter Range: I am able to walk all the way around a classroom with my laptop in the front corner and have had no issues with getting disconnected. -Laser Brightness: The laser is very bright (especially compared to any red one I have seen) but not so bright that it is distracting. Multiple people have in my classes have commented on how much easier it is to see than red. -Battery Life: The two rechargeable AAA batteries that I put in it lasted a full week without needing to be charged. They probably would have gone longer but this is the length of the courses I teach so I charged them after the weeks were done. -Negative: The only downside I notice with this item is that every time I press the laser button the laser seems to need to "warm up" to get bright. It's not long, maybe a second or two to go from a thin point to fully bright, but it can be quite annoying when you are trying to point something out quickly. -Overall: Compared to other presenters with green lasers that are out there I feel like this is a good buy and would recommend this to anybody else who wants something simple and easy to use with a decent, green laser.

I'm a trainer by profession, and needed to upgrade to a green laser because so many locations have upgraded their projection screens - and my red laser just didn't cut it. I picked this one, at half the price of the others - and you get what you pay for. The laser is fine, but the device is thin plastic and I had to tape the battery compartment shut because the cover keeps coming off.The worst part is that it doesn't have a button to blank the screen. That, I'm afraid, is almost a deal breaker for me. BUT at half the price, I don't regret the purchase. We'll see how long it lasts.

I was a little worrying about the quality of this presenter because some reviews said that it is low in quality and breaks down easily. It arrived today and it was a relief: it is a good product. The plastic quality is OK. I did see slightly uneven at a corner, but it is hard to attract any attention. I used Logitech before, and the quality of assembling and surface finish is about the same. One review said that the buttons are reversed -- up button goes down and vice versa. Maybe that is only a rare assembly error because mine works as expected. The upper button goes to the previous slide (or scroll up) and the lower button does the opposite. The buttons are spaced apart and in different shapes (laser is round and scroll buttons are long rectangles) so you don't need to worry about pressing the wrong button in the middle of a presentation. When I was using the Logitech presenter, I accidentally pressed the scroll button several times when I intended to light up the laser because all the buttons on the Logitech presenter are too close to each other. The laser is powerful -- maybe too powerful. You can see the laser beam clearly as the dust in air is lighted up by the laser. When I used the lower power Logitech presenter, I didn't observe the same thing. I cannot stare at the laser point on the wall because it is way too bright. Must be careful not to blind someone in your presentation. For such a power laser beam, I would recommend not to continuously light up the laser or you might risk burning the laser diode. The manual says that it is IR frequency and you can see the IR bulb like the one on your TV remote. However it still works even though you cover the bulb and block the line of sight. I can walk to the next room and the scroll buttons still works. So is it RF or IR? I don't know. After my first trial, I unplugged the receiver directly (without performing "safely removal" procedure) and the receiver does not work the second time I plugged it in. Make sure you performed "safely unplugging" each time. This is the only problem I found with this product because newer operation systems (newer than XP) all allow hot swaps. The USB receiver is HUGE compared to its competitors. I guess that is because the USB receiver can also be a USB flash disk for high end models. They just use the same plastic cover for all models. Comes with a carrying bag, two new AAA batteries, one USB receiver, and the presenter. It seems to be free of any problem for now. If it breaks down after a few weeks or so, I will post updates here.

Enjoy the product image, as the real thing doesn't match the impression. The device is cast out of poor quality plastic. The edges don't meet up, color swirls abound, it feels very, very cheap. Low-quality, snap-together model feel. On top of this, the laser is very dim. It also stopped working after 10 seconds of use. Yuck....

One of the few affordable presenters with green laser. Unfortunately, the laser quality and quality of the casing isn't very good. It feels quite light-weight, laser itself isn't as strong as you may expect from a 5mW laser.Still, it's cheap; worth trying

This is an amazingly bright green laser and the up/down buttons work completely without effort in Linux (Ubuntu 11.10). Sure, it's cased in cheap plastic and the USB stick is enormous but feels mostly empty (and doesn't include a thumb drive for the size), but it's a <$30 pointer and it does what I want it to do.
