After seeing the high reviews that this guitar controller received before I bought it I thought "Why not, it's inexpensive and apparently it work well." Well I'm here to tell you, based on my experience, this guitar controller didn't live up to my expectations...

Initially everything was fine. The guitar looks just as good as the Activision guitar controller that came with Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. The center yellow fret button was a bit harder to push than the others but after three songs I was getting used to it. Me and my daughter enjoyed playing against each other in battles to prove who was "King (or Queen) of the Ax."

It wasn't more than two hours into playing that I noticed the sounds of my notes were sounding strange - as if I was using the "wammy-bar" all the time. Sure enough, I was! The wammy-bar was stuck "on" the entire time. Nothing I did could keep it from un-sticking.

I sent it back to "Electronics & Video Games Accessories" the next day. So here I am out more than $20.00 of shipping expenses just because I wanted to save some money from buying the more expensive Activision model.

In short, spend the money and buy the real thing, the Activision guitar controller. My Activision controller hasn't broken with over a year of use.

This is the perfect beginner guitar. I love it. Meets my needs. Plays awesome with Beatlesrockband!

This is a great Wii Guitar Controller and I really like it for two reasons: 1) it is affordable and 2) it works. It comes with rocker-inspired stickers that my kids appreciated, and it can be upgraded with any number of faceplates that are really expensive (in my opinion). Guitar Hero Rocks and this controller helps make it happen!

I bought this for my son, gave it to him tonight as an early Christmas gift. He was very excited over not having to play using the wii controller anymore! Took him about 3 seconds to figure out that the red button on the neck of the guitar does not work at all. Nice...Great gift, not so much

The game is a blast, but this guitar is not great quality. The keys consistently get stuck and this guitar does not feel as solid as the one that came with the game.

guitar arrived in no time flat, it looks like a Les Paul guitar, the fact that you slide the controller right into it gives you more control than the Guitar that came with rock band. The fret buttons Are spaced a little further apart but that's easy to get used to. All in all not a bad buy And the price was right.

I purchased this item for my son and made the mistake of thinking it was the guitar made by activision -- it is an imitation or a knock off.

I had to return the product to the seller, who did refund my money promptly, but I had to pay $9 to ship it to me and $9 to ship it back.

This was an $18 dollar lesson learned -- always make sure of the manufacturer before you buy -- the picture can give the impression you're buying the original but it can be an imitation.

The game/guitar was a Christmas gift for my son, and it worked for about 30 min. than began to break down. Game works fine but guitar was defective about 50% of time. Disappointment was that no exact replacement available. Had to order different guitar, no price bargain as before Christmas - not quite what had in mind - boo!

I HAD NO TROUBLE WITH PURCHASING OR RECEIVING THE PRODUCT BUT WHEN IT ARRIVED WE WRAPPED IT FOR CHRISTMAS. WHEN WE OPENED IT FOR CHRISTMAS DAY THE GUITARS MAIN ADVANCING BUTTON THE GREEN BUTTON DID NOT WORK. WE SENT IT BACK STILL WAITING FOR REFUND.
