I am returning this mouse for a full refund.

It wouldn't work if I just turn the mouse off and turn it on again, I would have to unplug the usb receiver from my laptop and plug it in again to solve the problem.

I only used the mouse for 3 days and then it stopped working.

After reading other reviews, I am wondering if there are two different versions of this device, one with a blue laser that performs flawlessly, and one with a red laser that has issues with the buttons sticking.

Sadly, I was sent one with a red laser, and the left button is strong, but right button stuck after my very first click. In addition, the mouse will not work at all if I put the battery cover on the mouse. The cover seems to fit, but it apparently forces the battery into a position where it loses contact and shuts down completely. This is ridiculous. Where is the quality control?

Needless to say I am sending back this useless garbage.

EDIT:
I bought this mouse from another seller that clearly stated that they were selling the version with the BLUE LASER. Sure enough, the blue laser mouse arrived and WORKS FLAWLESSLY!

So, to make it clear

YES, THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT VERSIONS OF THIS DEVICE. ONE WITH A RED LASER AND ONE WITH A BLUE LASER. BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE (and also based on reading other reviews here) THE RED LASER DEVICE IS PRONE TO SERIOUS DEFECTS, AND THE BLUE LASER DEVICE WORKS AS DESCRIBED. I SUGGEST THAT YOU NOT PURCHASE A MOUSE OF THIS TYPE UNLESS THE MERCHANT CLEARLY STATES THAT THEY ARE SELLING THE VERSION WITH THE BLUE LASER.

This mouse is very sleek and sexy, more than any other mouse I could find for this price. The laser is actually blue and it works on almost every surface except glass, which in any way a point down. It has no extra buttons except for right click, left click, scroll, and cpi button. It's a regular sized mouse just a lot flatter than most. The flatness is very useful for storage on the go, so you don' have a giant lump in your backpack. The colors are fashionable and gives it a nice edgy look. It's made from plastic and is very light, but still it feels pretty solid to me. It has a shut off button and auto shuts off so battery usage is kept to a minimum. This is probably the best mouse I've used so far, and I have no compmlaints. Installation is just plug and play, no hassle. Definitely worth the purchase.

This is my quick review of the mouse and its features. I forgot to mention that this mouse is a plug and go style and it requires no installation of a program or anything. I just plugged it in and it synced instantly. Great buy!!!

Overall, this is a decent mouse for the money - but you get what you pay for.

It's smooth and the performance is good enough for normal use, it fits comfortably in either hand (it's more or less full size), and the blue light on the bottom (which can not been seen while in use) is a nice touch compared to the more common red lights. The only real annoyance is the buttons are rather loud when clicked - enough so to be distracting and easily heard by those nearby. On the upside, it works with both my Mac and PC without the need for extra drivers or anything special.

If you want a good mouse for constant use, get a Microsoft or Logitech - if you need a backup, or something for occasional use, this will get the job done.

I thought this mouse was smaller. It's a regular size mouse, but it is slimmer, more comfortabe becuz of the rubber grip and very nice looking and now that i have it i'm glad it's not smaller than what it is. Even though it has an on and off switch i forget to turn it off when i put my pc to sleep but it doesn't matter cuz when i do the mouse turns itself off. It takes 1 AA battery and the receiver stores nicely in the bottom. I haven't found a surface yet that i can't use it on. The instructions do say not to use it on a mirror. Nice product, especially 4 the money.

I got the mouse with red lights. The design is awful!!! I can't close the battery cover when a battery is in it, but if I leave the cover off, the battery drains crazy quick. judging from the reviews, it seems like there are two designs, the blue-light version generates mostly positive reviews. But the red-light version sucks. Sadly, there's no way you can tell which kind you get.

Works great from anywhere in the room! I wished I had this along time ago. I like the turn off switch to save battery power.

my mouse just arrived today... 2 earlier than the earliest estimated date (10/13/11). i have none of the problems other people have been having (i.e. red laser, smoking when battery is inserted.) installation was easy just plug it in and go. i am noticing one problem, the mouse can be a little choppy. it will work fine momentarily then stop responding then randomly start working again. maybe its coincidence but it seems to have this problem most when things are loading. anyway for 10 bucks im satisfied. i just recommend only buying this if you are in need of a budget mouse like myself. hope this helps.

UPDATE!

the choppy control was from me plugging into the back of my desktop computer. as long as there is nothing in between the mouse and the receiver the connection should be borderline flawless. however i have noticed that the receiver its self is a bit cheap. it fell apart when i tried to pull it out of the usb port. not a big deal though all the pieces easily snap back in place and it still works perfectly. will update again if i notice anything else.
