This is an absolute must if you are into macro photography or into taking long shutter release situations. I like it much better than a corded shutter release because it gives you the freedom to move around without disturbing the tripod. I highly recommend this product to anyone who might want the use of a remote. It is something that can also be used if you want to release the shutter from a distance e.g., taking birds.

Like another reviewer, I received the remote for a Nikon instead of Canon, but they were very quick to replace the one I had. That certainly was not a reason to downgrade the product as another did.

The product works perfectly and is a must for macro, long exposure, landscapes, etc.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing a remote.

I was considering buying a Twin infared wireless shutter and then a friend
told me I might have trigger problems using it outdoors. I bought the ALZO
wireless because of price and the fact that it is radio frequency and will
work outdoors and through walls. It arrived quickly and has worked every
time. I also like the 2 step shutter action, it is a nice feature too.

I have only used this product a couple of times, but thus far it was worked flawlessly. Based on a couple of hours usage, I would recommend this item.

Alzo Digital shipped promptly and I was pleased with the communication, I will shop Alzo again.

Love this remote shutter release. It's small enough to conceal it in my hand to take pictures without the subject noticing. Also has good range, can even operate from another room. No trouble with the battery.

Just got it and at first I didn't think the receiver was working after putting the battery in. After scratching my head for a moment I realized that the batter has a plastic covering on it that needs to be removed. Oops. :) I haven't tested the range yet, but it does work as described with a T1i. It is nice to be able to half-hold the button (the button has some resistance at half-held) to allow the camera to focus and meter and then press completely to release the shutter. The lights on the remote indicating if you are half-held or completely pressed are nice. Support of bulb mode is cool - it acts as a toggle so if you are doing super-long exposures you don't have to sit there holding the button on the remote down.

Yeah, I'm happy with it and it sure beats the cruddy RC-5 remote.

I used it to take one picture...one...then it stopped and would not work again. Not close up, not from a distance. I returned it.

The unit arrived promptly. It works with both my Canon 20D and 5DMk 2. I purchased it to photograph birds with the camera on a tripod prefocused on a feeder, while I was concealed some distance away. It works perfectly. I have not tested the range, but I see no reason to doubt the claims. I am very satisfied. Bill Knorr

I got this for photographing young children! Being tethered to a cord and jumping around trying to make a child laugh is not fun!! I love this!! i get my smiles and never miss a shot!!

ALZO delivered this super fast, which was a nice surprise. I've been using this shutter release with my Canon D60 for the past 5 months, taking hundreds of pictures, and it has not failed me once. Partial shutter LED indicator is a very cool feature!
