I ordered the Amphony 5.8 Ghz wireless speaker kit to connect the rear speakers of our new theater system (Yamaha receiver and Jamo speakers) and was pleasantly surprised at how well they worked out. The speakers sound perfect and none of us have noticed any difference between the sound quality of the wireless and wired speakers.

Setting up the devices was extremely easy and took less than 10 minutes.

It's been two months now and for the most part I even forget that the speakers are wireless. To me, that is best part for all and the best review I can give them. There are never any annoying hisses or pops like the other wireless speakers I've used, and I've never had to do any sort of adjustments for the sound to stay clear. They just work!

An Amphony representative even called about a week after I received the speakers to make sure everything was working correctly. I did not have a need for any help, but I was really impressed by that level of customer service.

Works great, best customer service I've ever dealt with. Saved me from drilling holes in the wall and running wire all over the place.

I live in a NY studio. I have set up some Polk speakers by a glass wall. To minimize the cable clutter, I opted for the Amphony wireless speaker kit. I do have quite a fair amount of wireless interference. I have used another wireless unit from BestBuy that works at 2.4 GHz. However, I would always get some crackling. It would usually be worse in the evening than in the morning. I then found this kit and purchased it because it works at 5.8 GHz. I do not have any 5.8 GHz appliances in my home and thus figured that it should work fine. And it did. Plenty of volume coming from the wireless units. Couldn't be happier.

I recently purchased this wireless speaker kit. It works very well. I would have had a difficult time using wire to the speakers, so this system worked great. I have a high end system and the sound quality is great. Make sure you turn down the volume before you turn the amp off, as when you turn it on the next time you will hear a loud pop as the system turns on. Not a big deal, it has to establish contact to the receiver. Would recommend to everyone, and would buy again...happy....happy..........

What I really like about this wireless kit is that everything that is needed to the speakers wireless is included in the box. Even the short speaker cables that are needed to attach of the wireless amplifiers speakers are included. So setting up this wireless kit is really easy and can be done within 10 minutes. The user manual is of medium quality but it has plenty of drawings and installing this set should be easy even for a novice. There is no fiddling with frequency channel controls required. The units are already synced with each other and can be used right away.

Since my home is located on a slab of concrete there's no easy way to run speaker wires for the rear surround sound speakers. Going around the baseboards or under the carpeting was just not an option. After investigating what products were out there I decided on the Amphony wirelss kit. It was extremely easy to install and so far I've been very pleased with its performance. Line of sight from the transmitter to the receiver/amps has not been a problem and there's no lag in the audio. The money I spent on this product was well worth it considering what my other options would have been to make this work. It's been up and running for about 30 days now with no issues at all.

Well. Some people think 3 star reviews aren't good, but consider this a positive 3 star review. I would have rated it 4 stars but my first set had a defective right receiver. So fast forward a week with a new rear right receiver. I plug it in and get crazy distorted death noises that sound like they are going to kill my speakers. i stand there stumped and as I'm about to unplug it, it stops and starts working perfectly. A few times it's had some popping interference where my left doesn't for some reason, I have no cordless phones or wifi in my house that should be affecting it.

Anyway onto the product part of it. It's working very nicely, it powers my rears perfectly and sounds as good as when they are wired (I first calibrated them wired since I had tons of speaker wire to drape across the floor) then calibrated the amphony units. The units feel kind of cheap, they are extremely light and look like plastic garbage to me, I wish there were just minimal black or gray boxes and not all space shippy but whatever, they are working well and mostly only pop when they turn on because of detected sound (ive had a couple stray crackles but Out of like 15 movies I've maybe just one or two snap-crackle's so far which is acceptable for me). They are about 15 feet from the transmitter, in line of sight on the floor tucked in between my couch and end tables. I would have mounted them on the walls by the rear speakers if they were more minimal but they look super silly.

All in all I don't have a lot of confidence in the build quality of this product, however I have not seen any other offerings which compare in features. The rocketfish ones dont put out enough power for my speakers, and I prefer that these have separate receivers for each speaker and are in the 5ghz region.
