I got this item because I was having trouble finding an inexpensive yet secure and protective case for my Nokia 6230. So far, this item meets my needs. The phone is held securely and is well protected, although I find that for my particular phone it holds best when the phone is inserted in the case upside down. (My phone is wider at the top than the bottom and the elastic fabric which provides the "grip" on the phone is used on the bottom 2/3 of the case.) However, the materials used for the clip leave a lot to be desired. The leather-covered metal clip is sturdy and I like the ratcheting feature, but the leather used is thin and the metal is starting to cut through it. The now exposed metal has some rough edges (which is probably why it cut through the leather to begin with) and I'm worried it's going to harm my pants. They really should have used a plastic clip instead of a metal one. Overall it's a decent case for the price, but I'm beginning to realize that $20 for a better case just might be worth it.

I was very impressed when I bought it. But after two months the belt clip got seperated from the case. Don't feel like buying this again.

It is universal all right. I have an extra inch or more of play on the top portion of the case. Meaning the case is just too long for the Motorola E815. Other than that it is good quality for the price you paid.

The price was good. The holder is of good quality. The belt clip seems to rotate a little too easily. Sometimes I will notice that my holder and phone are upside down. Also the holder was just a little too big for my Nokia 1100 phone (both height and width). Otherwise i it's great!

Needed one and this looked ok...looked, two weeks after simbolic use it fell apart.

however, i was pleasently surprised

the black case was smooth and classy looking and held my cell phone snug and out of the way
i might buy another, however, i would prefer one that would stay in the case while i dialed

I have an older style phone than most out today, but this case fit my Kyocera K9 very well. It's easy to slide in and out of the holder and doesn't fallout by itself. I'd imagine it works just as well for the Kyocera K10, but not sure about anyother phone.

Fits my Nokia perfect. They have actually improved the leading edge of the belt clip. A small piece of metal has been fitted and now the leather will not wear out from taking on and off your belt. Buy with confidence.
